Pavilion… XD

Saturday, September 29th, 2007

Today at last I got to take a walk in Pavilion after its opening few weeks ago.. I have been asking who is willing to accompany me for this visit but seems like no one want to bother me.. So pity.. T.T Haha, ok, today I went with my sister~ =) When we arrived that time, I was like WoW~! @.@ The mall is very huge, even from outside~ (Macam orang kampung just keluar bandar… XD) There was a fashion parade going on at the time we reached from G2000 at the runway on the concorse.. ^^ So I took some pictures of it, and I saw some professional photographers stood right infront of the runway holding big dumb dumb professional cameras and snap snap snap snap.. =P

Pav1

Nah, the big big Pavilion from outside.. =)

Pav2

The fashion parade from G2000~ ^^

Then we had a walk around the complex~ It is so hugeeeee~ But most of the retailer stores are not opened yet especially those branded shops~ Only some like Quiksilver, Roxy and Bossini are opened.. There is Parkson also and this Parkson looks so exclusive, different from those we saw in The Mall or Sungei Wang.. The things they sell make my eyes became *.*" Haha, the design of the complex very similar to KLCC even the shops they have.. Other shops which are there (or will be opened) >> Times, Borders, GSC etc etc~

Pav3

Grand or not the Pavilion? Parkson! =P

Then we went to the LG floor to look for food.. Most of the restaurants are opened and there are quite a number of variety of restaurants!!!! Let me list out some… Hmm.. KFC, Nandos, Pizza Hut, Yo Sushi, Breadtalk, JCo Donut, Taiwan Shihlin, Pastamania!, laksa Shack, Madam Kwan’s and blah blah blah blah~~~ Too many to list out man~ XD All the restaurants were crowded when we walked past especially Madam Kwan’s.. Sorry er, Alina easily gets excited when see many food variety around.. >.<"

There’s a supermarket in Pavilion too.. It’s called the Mercato.. Quite big also, with variety of imported food available… XD We like to walk in supermarket also~ When we saw chocolates, our eyes started to shine but the fats on us told us to back off… T.T

Pav4

LG floor.. Wow, I love the Lovely Lace here.. Looks like fairy tale’s garden.. Random shot of a candy shop~ And that’s Mercato supermarket.. =)

Then we decided to try some new things, and we went to Yo! Sushi.. This sushi shop is special in a way that, not only sushis are on the sushi belt.. You can find desserts, sashimis on it too.. But the price is very high so we tried like few plates then we left.. The most expensive thing you can find on the belt costs RM16.. @.@" Siao aa?

Pav7

Yo! Sushi.. See the price on menu, the most expensive plate costs RM16.. Haha, we stayed there not longer than 30 minutes~ And their food is not nice also.. Won’t enter anymore~ Dessert, dorayaki.. =P

Next, we went to JCo Donut & Coffee, since both of us like donuts so much.. It was quite crowded also, and we shared 3 donuts~ The prices are reasonable, RM2.30 for each assorted donut and 1/2 dozen cost RM11.. =) The ambience of the cafe is very very similar to our beloved Starbucks Coffee~ =.=" Even the font of their shop name, logo and coffee paper cups also very alike.. Copy us! >.<" I didn’t try their coffee, but the donuts weren’t bad.. We had the glazzy (original), Coco Loco (Chocolate inside and outside XD) and Cheese Me Up flavour… The glazzy was simple and sweet, cheese one was definitely great~ But the Coco Loco was not as good as I expected, the chocolate filling tasted one kind punye.. =( I still prefer my all time favourite Choc Pudding from Dunkin Donut… =) But overall the donuts were good la~ Soft soft de~ Then my sister ta pao 1/2 dozen for her bf’s family.. (Nak ambik hati orang la ni… =P)

Pav8

The Starbucks look-alike, JCo Donut.. Don’t you think so? See their peacock logo~ =P But the ambience and donuts are not bad la~ =)

Pav9

Yumika happily enjoying the donut~ XD (I know, I don’t really look that happy.. =P)

After that, we ta pao some nice and hot Seafood Tempura from Taiwan Shihlin.. Sambil eat sambil walk around the complex.. =)Nothing much after that, we just went back home.. Hmm, should say I went back home and she went back to her bf’s home… Couldn’t wait to see her bf.. =P

Pav6

Many stores still have not opened yet.. And the second photo is taken on 3rd floor~ KL Plaza~~ XD

P/S: I was thinking where is our beloved Starbucks located (takkan so big punye mall don’t have Starbucks? =.=") and Yes! I found it.. It is located on 3rd floor if I’m not mistaken, just near the entrance to the under renovation GSC Pavilion.. Very quiet la that floor, nothing much but Baskin Robbins is opening soon just beside Starbucks.. =) There are still many restaurants gonna opened..

Pav5

Starbucks Kopi… =P Remember to support oo~ =)

What is this Fruit?

Friday, September 28th, 2007

Just now my Brother went to pasar malam to buy some fruits.. (His hobby.. XD) Then he came back saying "I bought something that you haven’t been eating for very long~" I was thinking what is that~~ XD Then he show me a plastic bag of fruits~ Eh, really something that I didn’t eat for very long~ I don’t know whether you all see or eat this type of fruit before or not, but it is very common in Sabah, my sweet hometown… I still remember last time used to eat alot because my grandma’s house got this fruit tree besides mango tree~ ^.^ Come come, I show you the photos first before telling the name… =)

Sa1

Looks like bomb or not? XD

Sa

Closer look at the bomb.. Saw it before or not? =P

Saw before? Sabah people call it "紅毛荔枝" (Hong Mao Li Zhi) but the actual name for this fruit is "番荔枝“ (Fan Li Zhi).. =) At first I didn’t know it’s english name.. So I went and google a bit on it, and I found out~ XD It is called Sugar-apple (a.k.a. Sweetsop a.k.a. Custard-apple), if you want to know its scientific name, it is Annona squamosa.. =) Very nice fruit, but I didn’t really see it in KL much.. It looks like tiny version of soursop, tastes abit like that also in a sweeter version la~ XD If you have never tried that before and you come across it, should try~ ^^ I remember I used to like it alot… =)

Happy Belated Mooncake Festival.. =P

Wednesday, September 26th, 2007

Haha, yesterday came back around 1am after yumcha, so didn’t manage to blog on yesterday event.. How was everyone’s celebration? My parents went back to Sabah yesterday morning, so this will be the first time we celebrate at home without our parents.. So lonely.. No nice cooking… T.T Me and sis thought of going Legend Hotel for buffet, but too bad we got dinner from cathering… >.<"

Yesterday I waited for my sister to come back from work, then we played lanterns and candles.. Haha.. Ok, many people will ask me "How old are you? =.=" Sorry, but I realli like to light up those candles~ I even went to Petaling Street in the afternoon to find for those conventional paper lanterns which are in the shape of animals those, but the auntie there said "You come so late, what also finished la~~~" T.T Sorry, my fault..

Since I’m staying in apartment unit.. My lanterns/candles territory is only the balcony… >.<" Somemore our balcony is so small, no wear to hang the lanterns… T.T Nevermind, I took the wooden chopsticks and clipped onto all the places I can clip in the balcony and hung the lanterns on them.. So sad hor?

Lantern1

Sis with the lanterns at the tiny balcony~ >.<"

Lantern2

The pity little lanterns hanging on the ladder… =P

At first we planned to wait for my Aunt’s family finish their dinner and go yumcha with us.. But we wait wait wait, they still haven’t got back home.. So we decided to go for Eye on Malaysia.. ^.^v That time was already 9.45pm, and we just got to know that the ferris wheel closes at 10:30am~ So after my sister finished her bath, we flew to Titiwangsa~ Luckily we managed to be on time, I thought our turn was the last call… XD

We went to a gondola with another couple.. And I didn’t know my sis has such serious phobia of height~ She grabbed the bench very tightly with the face of >> *_*" I didn’t really feel anything la, I was just trying to get good shot from the ferris~ But too bad, can’t see anything at night… =.=" Must find one day to go on daytime.. XD YChen, jom!! =P I don’t know it was because of it was the last call or it is just like that.. We sat on the thingy for around 20 minutes.. We counted and it went for around 7 rounds~ Start to feel dizzy already, somemore go so many rounds with the same view~ Boring la~ Somemore at night got nothing to see except the KLCC~ But I also can see KLCC from my house la~ Ceh~ =P

Ferris1

The Eye on Malaysia~ Nice shot?? And me before taking the ride~ Sorry aa, I went directly after bath, no contact lens, didn’t comb hair, no make up = looks sux… =P

Ferris2

The ticket of the ride.. =) And the view taken from the top.. Nothing special and it was too dark… >.<"

We tried to take pic with the ferris wheel after that, but the light shut off once we got down.. T.T But still got some low quality photos la~ =P Then we rushed back because we scared the park will be very quiet if it’s too late~ So we were actually macam in Amazing Race.. Rush from house to Titiwangsa, snap snap snap pictures, went on the ferris wheel, then rush back to Sentul… XD Then we called our Aunt and cousin to come out for yumcha~ =) That’s how my mooncake festival went on this year~ By the time we reached home, it was past the day already…. So you all got play lanterns? XD

Ferris3

Me and the Eye on Malaysia.. And that’s the Eye on Malaysia when the lights are turned off~ Still look great? =\

Ferris4

Sis and the stalls along the Titiwangsa park.. XD

Mooncake mooncake.. ^.^

Tuesday, September 25th, 2007

Hey everyone, how’s life? It’s already past 12am, so it’s mooncake festival today.. Happy Mooncake Festival!! XD Remember to becareful when you are playing with lanterns and candles ok? Yesterday my sister bought home two mooncakes from Hei Yue Thong (喜月堂).. I actually never heard of it before.. Haha.. Anyway, this shop sells mooncakes using the theme of "Country".. Different ingredients used in the mooncakes represent different countries.. For example, my sister bought the one of "Korea" which is Ginseng Chicken Floss, since Korea is famous with their Ginseng.. =)

Bro2

Their brochure that my Sis curi from the shop… Nice not? Autumn Sonata kononnyer~ =P

Other countries are China’s "Green Tea with Milk", Germany’s "German Black Forest" and France’s "Espresso Chestnut".. Too bad this three are sold out.. So my sister bought another one out of theme de, which is Green Tea with Lemon….

Bro1

Nah, the mooncakes of different countries aa~

I first tried the Green Tea Lemon… The paste tastes very aromatic tea, but doesn’t like green tea… More to… like Pu Er? Haha, I also don’t know what, but just not green tea.. XD And the lemon is kinda sour la.. Sour until cover the sweetness of the green tea paste.. Hmm, not a good combination… =P

Mcake1

The Green Tea with Lemon mooncake.. Outlook very nice… But tastes weird~ Lala~ XD

Then we tried the Ginseng one (I was very full by the time we tried that >.<").. Taste not bad, very strong Ginseng smell but luckily the taste not that strong.. I thought it will be bitter, but the taste just nice.. But pair with chicken floss, another weird combination.. By the time I bite the small piece of mooncake, the floor already full with chicken floss~ (Got scold from my Mom: "So old already still don’t know how to eat nicely ka?") T.T Why scold me, scold the floss ma… =P But overall this one not bad la, but my mouth still have the Gnseng taste until now~ =.=" I don’t like Ginseng~ Sis said because mooncake festival is just one day ahead, so they sell those mooncakes for 25% discount~ Yes~~~ Have u eaten any mooncake?

Mcake2

Ginseng Chicken Floss~ 人參… Haha…

P/S: I want to play lantern very much… T.T

Parents should not be blamed?!

Sunday, September 23rd, 2007

Recently, the nation is very concerned about the case of the missing of an 8 years old girl, Nurin who ended up was the girl who was brutally sexually assaulted and killed.. Me too, is really very sadden by this case and wondering why would this heartless beast can do such thing on a little girl.. My condolences to Nurin’s family.. I think if the police managed to nab this beast, he should be punished in the same way.. Stuffing a papaya into his a**hole? I’m not joking, I just think that whipping, life term jail or even a death sentence is not enough for such beast.. Whether the murdered little girl is Nurin or not, a kid does not deserve anything like this..

I have another thought here.. I’ve read yesterday’s malay mail which Nurin’s father mentioned on ".. parents should not be blamed as they could not chain their children to prevent them from wandering around." I know that I won’t understand the grief that the family is facing now, but I do know that, at least if her parents have pay more attention on her, this thing may not happen.. Many parents think that having kids is just an easy job.. "Oh, I love kid, I would like to have babies" then just give birth to them and that’s it…

I’m living in an apartment unit, and I always see little kids wandering around and playing by themselves alone, inside or outside the apartment compound.. I always think that if I randomly grab one of them and bring them away, will anyone actually notice? Are their parents really concern on their safety? I know maybe the parents are just too busy on their works or taking care of the younger kids.. But is that mean that they can leave their own children do everything they want? They just too small to understand the dangerous of the society.. As parents, you gave birth to them, you have to take full responsibility on them.. If you can’t do it, then don’t ever think of having kids, you will only ruin them..

Don’t talk on if they will be abducted or what, just look at the kids that left by themselves near our housing area, they were playing with many types of dangerous things especially the firecrackers.. Sometimes I also saw an "elder sister" walks with her younger sister back home from school, which their ages are actually just one or two years gap difference.. OMG, if sekali abduct both the kids, then really bye bye la.. As I saw, these things happened more often among the Malays.. Don’t misunderstand, I don’t mean any discrimination or what here.. But the fact is there, they have many kids to be taken care of, but they are busy with making money or even their housechores.. So they just make the kids play among themselves outside the house…

The case of Nurin gives very good warning to parents out there, You really have to take good care of your children.. Your responsiblity is to protect ur kids from anything, I mean ANYTHING… Do anything you can before you regret on something bad happens to them, as we can see, the society is not safe anymore.. I really do not hope to read any of this kind of news in the paper anymore… T.T

Fire Broke Out.. >.<”

Thursday, September 20th, 2007

Yesterday night I slept at around 1++am.. Not long after I almost fell asleep I heard something like a huge knocking sound came from my room window.. @.@ I was shocked and opened my eyes, I thought which country’s superman came and knocked on my room window.. Scary.. =.=" But I didn’t care much because I was very sleepy, so I continued my sweet dream..

Knock

"Knock! Let’s have supper.." =P

Not long after that, my Brother rushed into my room and switch on the light.. "Wake Up!!! Fire Broke Out!" @.@ Once again, I was shocked.. Then we looked out from my room window.. Wow, very smoky outside.. Instead of fire brigade, we saw a police car.. Hmmm, nowadays policemen do part time job?? =/

Haha, no la, minutes after that, the fire brigade came la.. So I thought which unit of apartment caught on fire.. When I went out from my room, Wow! My living room is like heaven~ So smoky.. >.<" And smelly~ The smell wasn’t like normal burning, it was like those wyres or chemical were burning.. Then my Aunt from a nearby apartment called my Mom’s cellphone.. Told us to get down from our unit.. Wow, that’s sound pretty serious~ So we woke our parents up, and my Mom scolded my Bro for waking her up.. =.="

My mom continued sleep.. Me, Dad n Bro went down and 8 on what happened.. Actually was a car in our carpark caught on fire~ So the Superman knocking sound I heard earlier was actually an explosion caused from the fire… So at 2++am, everyone was still so excited surrounding the scene so closely and watched the firemen put off the fire.. Sekali explode once more, then we all say bye bye to the world.. =P By the time I went, the fire was already put off, but they were still splashing water to the car as it was still hot and smoke was still flying around.. Lala…

Dsc00166_1

Everyone was standing there 8.. Can see aa? So dark.. =.="

Then I saw this car melted 98% except its backside, but I can’t see what model was that.. But what pity was the Pajero parked beside it.. Half melted already.. >.<" I think if it was a Kancil beside it, maybe left exhaust only.. =P Dad somemore made fun and said "Later they open the car door and suddenly shout "Ader mayat! XD"".. Ok, that’s not funny.. =.=" After they put off the fire and left nothing to watch, we went back our unit and continued our sweet dreams.. Bro continued with his ManU match.. Haha..

Anyway, the smoke was really terrible.. Now I understand why people can die of inhaling too much of smoke due to fire broke outs.. Even I only inhaled abit during the 38 session, I already felt abit *_*.. Scary… Today I went to the market, and heard those 38 aunties talked about it and the issue was "Ah Long put on fire~" Haha, don’t know real or not.. =P I did take some photos, but due to it was at night, and I only managed to grab my handphone instead of digital camera when I went down, so the photos can barely be seen.. T.T

Dsc00167_1

Can see the backside of the burned car aa? And the half melted Pajero beside.. =P

Soft Skills… =)

Tuesday, September 18th, 2007

Today supposingly we have Project Management & Quality Assurance (PMQA) class, but our fei chai lecturer used this timeslot to invite a speaker from Canada to talk to us on soft skill in project management.. He told us that this speaker, named Jack Matthew (If I’m not mistaken) is a very experienced real life project manager.. Fei chai lecturer even attended his talks previously..

I arrived at the venue before time, and I was the first student to arrive.. Then it was only half amount of the expected-to-be-present students attended.. Hehe.. Everyone knows that today there will not be a class.. Then this speaker was late for 5 minutes.. =P Through the blind, I saw someone looks very alike the uncle standing infront of KFC walking towards our room from far.. Yea, it’s him~~ Uncle Colonel~ =P Then he came in and introduced himself, and start on his project management thingy..

So he told us that to succeed in the project, we have to make the project as the client’s.. Means that we need to involve the client in every single phase of the project, so that the client thinks we are HELPING them in delivering the system, and not that we are doing OUR own system.. He’s indeed an interesting speaker, although it is not long, about 1 and half hour, I paid my full attention to his talk.. Then he blah something that fei chai lecturer always mumbles about.. Planning is important la, have to motivate the team la~ Blah and blah.. I think by the time I can be a project manager, I already forgot what he had said and only remember his KFC face… =P However, I appreciate what he delivered la… So that I knew fei chai lecturer wasn’t BS-ing all the time, they basically are telling the similar things… XD

Oh ya, my dearest friend just reminded me.. In their university, which teaches some IT subjects in Malay, has translated the word “Soft Skills” into………. “Kemahiran Lembut”!!!! *clap* What a name… >.<”

Kfc_copy

I swear, the speaker and this uncle really 99.9% alike… XD

Anyway, today is my mom’s Lunar birthday.. So I met my mom at Chinatown and had lunch in Xi Men Ting.. I ta pao a slice of Mango Delight from SR for her, got blow candle got blow candle.. XD Happy Birthday, Mom!!! ^.^

Starbucks’ New Green Color Drinks.. =P

Saturday, September 15th, 2007

Halo, how has everyone been doing? Today at last I went for work, after skipping for so many weeks.. I was supposed to work on last week’s Matta Fair, but no one informed me about it, so I didn’t turn up for work… First time for me to absent in such way in about 4 years of working.. =P

This is the first day I’m working during the fasting month, and the sales are super totally slow.. I called it "Flies Catching Day" today.. =.=" By noon, there were only around 6 groups of customers.. Free sitting ader banyak la… >.<" Then I realised we actually have these new drinks.. There are the Green Tea Blackberry Frappuccino Blended Cream, and Green Tea Latte (got Iced also..) I tried the blackberry one, not bad except slighter too sweet because of the berry syrup.. =P I didn’t try the Latte.. But I did few cups of it during my shift…

Banner

The promotion banner that stands at our counter… Hijau nyer~ Mid Autumn Festival promo, Chinese like green tea ne~ XD

Green

My Green Tea Blackberry Frap… Doesn’t look special ne.. XD

I felt =.=" when I did the Green Tea Latte, especially the hot one.. ‘Cause the ingredient is something like 1. Sugar syrup, 2. Green tea powder, 3. Half cup of hot water, 4. Milk, 5. Foam.. By the time reached step 3, the drink is like "Air lumut…" >.<" Looks digusting… That’s why I didn’t try it, I don’t know about the taste, but this special "Latte" if you realised, is without coffee de.. Latte without coffee? Hmmm.. And there is a problem with the iced one too, is that the green tea doesn’t really dilute in the chilled milk.. =.=" Green tea powder bertakung at the bottom… Lumut lumut… XD

Then I saw these new merchandises, and I found out a cute bearista, which wearing a bat costume.. I think is for sempena Halloween la~ Cute… XD Hmm, so far no new food introduced yet.. Lala…

Bat

The cute Bat Bearista~ The wingz are actually in Purple.. Looks like blue due to the lighting =P

Something extra.. I found this photo in my handphone.. Seems like my Brother use it to take this plate of vegetables.. This is the vegetable dish my Brother prepared for my mom’s dinner.. Healthy dish, boiled Broccoli with Pumpkin (without any flavouring, not even salt.. =.=") OMG, anyone wants? *.*

Veg

Can imagine how it tastes?

Tuesday, September 11th, 2007

Yo… Today is 911, not a good day.. >.<" But it’s a good day for me ne, because I went to KLCC today for the Sushi King Privilege Bonanza with YChen~ XD The bonanza is from yesterday until Thursday ne~ As usual, each plate of rice-based sushi is only for RM2!!!!!! But still have to pay la.. If it’s buffet then nice.. XD Ehh… Let’s talk about our beloved YChen first.. She already had lunch with the managers at Traders Hotel before meeting me after some workshop.. =( Aku pun mau lunch at hotel… Hehe.. Nevermind la, so she just had about 5 plates of sushi~ XD

Hmm.. I ate ngam ngam 10 plates.. But still lesser than the amount I ate on the previous bonanza.. =P I eat mainly Unagi ne, my favourite.. ^.^ I also had some tempura de sushi, Inari, and some crab meat de~ Bao bao ne~ Until now, my tummy is like gonna burst anytime.. T.T We sat there for about 1 and half hour ne~~ The Sushi King in KLCC provides many variety of sushi leh~ XD not many people also since we reached just after lunch hour.. =) Nice nice.. Anyway, I miss the Carbonara at KLCC food court.. Gonna go back for it some time again… XD

Delicious… ^^

Tuesday, September 4th, 2007

Today I went somewhere new for lunch again… Mr. Cody Tan brought me there.. It seemed like our "Regular Tuesday Lunch".. =P He said must bring me to somewhere I’ve never been before, so today he brought me to a restaurant called Delicious in Bangsar Village.. He said his Aunt went there for twice also couldn’t get a table, was wondering what so nice about it.. When I saw the restaurant, one word appeared in my mind — "EXPENSIVE" Haha.. Nevermind, told Mr.Cody also that "If the meal more than RM20, he blanjer.." =P

And yes.. The food are so expensive leh, at least I think they are… >.<" I had English Breakfast tea for RM6.90.. It is served with two pieces of almond cookies.. =.=" But at least cheaper than Starbucks’.. =P Then I had Carbonara Spaghettini for meal.. (Got beef one..) YChen’s favourite.. Rm17.90 I guess.. T.T But it’s really in huge portion in very very creamy and cheesy sauce.. Really cheesy~ I could feel the 99.999% cheezy taste… XD But taste very muak after a few bites.. =.=" The last few bites were like……………………….. >.<"

Mr.Cody Tan Keem Khong had something called Duck Conttini Spaghettini.. (Or something like that) which costs RM21.90.. @.@ Same, it was in big portion and quite dry.. But the duck meat isn’t bad.. We were too full to move after the meal ne… XD So, no lunch for next Tuesday k? Don’t want end up like Babi Lim… =P

P/S: Environment n design of the restaurant are very nice too.. Got lots of lengchais and lengluis eat there.. Oppss forgot to emphasize "high class" punye lengchais and lengluis.. XD
