Chatted with Antoni just now after so long… He’s a collegemate of mine who’s currently in UQ, I just knew him about a month ago anyway.. =P He told me that he went to the Sanctuary lately and he sent me a picture of a super cute Koala bear bear… So cuteeee~ XD If I’ve chance to go there, I wish I can smuggle some back to KL.. Wahahahaha…

Arrggghhhh~~ New semester is going to start tomorrow… At last, after one and half month holiday… Let’s recap what I’ve done this holiday… Hmmm.. Should be slacking slacking slacking around + working… Haha, what a boring holiday.. So gonna take another 3 third year subjects this semester, predict it will be another hell + hectic + boring semester.. Moreover many of my friends already went to Australia, so sien~~~ T.T
Today went for work.. One of our partners who supposed to work today resigned few days back.. So we were lack of partners today and it was a busy day.. Work non stop, the crowd keep on coming non stop.. Our pastries almost finished by 2pm.. There was a stage at the centre of the mall, supposingly for a Fashion Gala thingy.. I didn’t see any Gala but I saw a clown went up there to bluff some small kids.. Haha, that fella was damn funny until my supervisor looked at his performance until didn’t hear me calling her..
Hmm.. Got another news today.. It is confirmed that my store manager, Mr. Tengku Ferry (Ceh wah.. =P) will leave our store (should be transferred to other store la, but I don’t know where.. Some new store kutt..).. His last day will be on 16th August.. He has been working at The Mall since the year of 2004, so now feel very sad of his leaving.. T.T Won’t be able to hear him calling our nicknames anymore~ And his significant question –> "Alina, changed handphone already not?" Haha.. They are planning a late night dinner with Ferry before he leaves la.. Late night as in after closing, probably around 11pm.. Yeah, Ferry blanjer~~~ XD Wish him all the best ne in the new store~ =) He won’t be able to get partners as "great" as us one la~ Anyway, heard also that our new soon to be store manager will be Ati from KLCC… Looking forward to it too~ ^.^

It’s time for reviewing movie of the week again.. Hehe.. This week I went for the movie Vacancy with YChen.. Let’s talk something out of topic first.. =P Before movie in MV, we went to makan at a Korean restaurant at 3rd floor of MV called the Restaurant Kyung Joo, it’s located just near the cinema if you realised.. This was the first time I’ve been there.. Wow, nowadays always makan nice nice huh? First Taiwanese, then Vietnamese now Korean.. XD Ok, about their dishes.. I ate some Fried Glass Noodle with Vegetables and beef la.. Taste not bad, quite big portion for me but I managed to finish it.. XD It comes with some side dishes which are vegetables also.. There was one kind of mashed potato but it was sweet one.. Taste weird, but others OK la.. YChen had some don’t know what Bee Beem Bap.. Didn’t taste it also, ask YChen for opinion… ^.^v Oh ya, although the food wasn’t that incredibly great, but there was a CIO waiter there.. That makes people worth going there huh? Hehe.. XD (CIO is a word in our Starbucks language.. Hehe.. If you don’t know what that word means, ask someone who works in Starbucks, he/she’ll know.. But I think I made the previous sentence very obvious right? Can guess the meaning without knowing that word.. =P) Anyway we got take some photos of the food, but YChen hasn’t send to me yet.. T.T
Ok, back to the movie… Vacancy, a quite short movie la, only runs for 1 hour and 25 minutes.. (Used to watch those 2++ hours movies kut.. =P) It is starred by Luke Wilson and Kate Beckinsale.. It roughly is about this couple who are going to separate soon, was lost ’cause the husband took a shortcut instead of using the highway heading somewhere.. It was very late and the car broke down, so they went to a small town nearby to find for the fella working in the garage.. But the shop already closed, so they were offered to stayed in an old motel.. There was when they found out some video tapes shooting on people being brutally killed by some masked fellas… And they realised that the location of the videos was in the room they were staying.. They found of some cameras hidden at every corner of the room..
So the entire movie was about how this couple escape from these psycho killers~ Hmmm, whether the couple survive at last, watch it by yourself la.. Actually this movie is not that brutal as I thought la, the most brutal part was in the video tapes they watched only.. The whole movie is more focus on how they escape from the fellas, so it was quite suspend since we don’t know when the killers will appear.. There were some scenes which shocked me and YChen.. Haha.. YChen kept on telling me she was scared and when is the movie going to end.. Maybe it has been quite some time since I watched thriller, so I also covered my eyes with my palms most of the time.. >.<" Muahaha, old already, cannot take horror movie anymore.. Lala.. Luckily it ended quite fast.. So my heart hadn’t stopped when the movie ended.. Ngohoho…
Hmm, if you ask me whether the movie worth watching or not… Ermmm… Still worth to watch la, but maybe you can support DVD for this movie.. Hehe.. But if watch DVD can’t really feel the suspension la.. So how? Decide it on your own then.. Hehe..

Went to BTS for Die Hard 4.0 yesterday.. As I remember, I’ve never watched any Die Hard previously, so this is the first.. It’s a 2 hours length of movie and starred by Bruce Willis, Timothy Olyphant, Maggie Q and Justin Long.. It was about the whole US computer infrastructure was hacked down by a bunch of fella who used the intelligent of some hackers.. They then went and killed those hackers whom they used.. Fortunately, they was a guy who was rescued from being killed by this uncle botak, John McClane.. So, basically the story revolves in this youngster, Matthew Farrell and this uncle botak saving the Nation from "Fire Sales" (Something like that right? =P) which consists of 3 steps to hack and stop all the computer controlled infrastructure and finally cut off fire, water, gas and blah blah blah… So, who is the culprit behind all this hacking stuffs? And did uncle botak did it to track down this culprit? Go and watch la… Nice movie.. The uncle botak as the movie’s name.. So hard to die one.. Did so many stunt and still can walk nicely de, lagi terror than Jackie Chan… =P
Hmm.. What’s my comment on this movie…. The action scenes and stunts are pretty nice, exciting~ There were few scenes which I wanted to scream due to the excitedness.. XD I became abit blur after I came out from the cinema, could see many stars infront of me.. >.<" There were some dialogs which are quite funny also.. That Uncle Botak can handle those dangerous stunts while joking like that, the highest level I guess… XD Then about this Maggie Q… So what’s her role? Yea, I remember.. The whole movie she was telling "This is ready for upload", "That is ready to download".. Muahaha… That’s all I can remember.. And the antagonist character… My sister said he’s very handsome… =.=" But I think he looks a bit like George Clooney… =P Handsome meh? Mana handsome?
Overall, I think this movie is nice.. Not as good as Transformers but can put it at the second place la.. Hehe.. Maybe because I’ve never seen other Die Hards before, so I have nothing to compare.. Lala.. Anyway, just watch it la, worth watching.. Ok? ^.^
The Uncle Botak in Die Hard 4.0… XD
Halo halo… I went to work on last Wednesday, Starbucks is almost entering the third phase of Summer promotion.. Wah, why our Summer extremely long this year? Last year we only had two phases, this year suddenly got third phase de~? XD However, our new beverages for this phase are not released yet.. Not really sure when they will be released~ Anyway, we are having new pastries nowadays.. Bought some of them back home to try.. Don’t know why no one let me have new product tasting de.. T.T Normally they’ll let us try de wor… >.<" Nevermind, bought back home so that my sister can taste also.. Or else she’ll say that I didn’t buy new pastries for her.. =P
The new products are Chocolate Garden, Zen Garden, Treasure Pots (Chicken Asparagus and Cranberry Chicken), Snow Donuts (Strawberry and Blueberry).. I bought both the Gardens, Cranberry Treasure Pot and the Strawberry donut.. Hmmm, how they taste… The Chocolate Garden is not bad, macam chocolate cake put on a tart with some kind of nuts la.. Starbucks serves all those warm, but I think should be served chilled la.. Got tart warm one meh? But if chilled, then the tart abit hard leh~ =P Then the snow donut, very big, have to be shared by at least 2 people la.. And kind of sweet.. (Donut memang sweet one la anyway..) Taste like the raspberry donut from Dunkin lor~ And the Treasure Pot is not bad, the Cranberry one.. Sweet + Sour + A bit spicy punye chicken on some puff like that.. The filling taste abit like Hawaiian Chicken ne~ Got pineapple cubes on it also.. XD Gua suka, gua suka~ Not too big portion, am am hou~ =) The puff part very nice too..
Hehe, that’s my report on Starbucks’ new food… Anyway, our new beverages that will be launching are Raspberry Blackcurrant Frappuccino and Mango Passion Fruit Frappuccino.. Both should be blended Tea la~ We previously have Raspberry and also Mango Frap, don’t know whether taste similar or not.. We’ll wait and see la~ XD Happy Summer (Non-stop Summer.. =P)

Actually nothing much on Day 2.. We bought the 1:30pm bus tickets on the second day… As I mentioned, I only got to sleep at 6am.. And have to wake up at 7:30am for shower.. Wah lao eh, macam didn’t sleep at all actually.. After bath, we went to the Hotel’s cafe for breakfast, it’s called the Galeri Cafe.. They served us buffet style breakfast.. So we ate some toasts with scramble eggs and sausages like that la.. Nice place la the cafe, very comfortable.. Then we went out to the Jonker Street, hope there will be something to see.. But maybe they worked until very late on saturday night, so they didn’t open that early on Sunday.. So we just walked around.. We thought to take the River Cruise, but the uncle said no other customers, so they won’t start the cruise wor.. Haihh, too bad.. So we back to hotel to pack our things..
Then we headed for Chicken Rice Balls~~ Wah, also very pack but luckily we managed to find a table.. So we ate while others queuing and looking at us eat.. Always like that one.. So we left as soon as we finished the meal.. And headed for our third bowl of Cendol of this trip.. =P It was about 12pm, then we took a bus back to Melaka Sentral.. Wow, the bus round so long, around 30 minutes before reaching Melaka Sentral… *Dizzy* Then we waited for awhile before our bus back to KL took off.. Then we reached KL around 4pm as there was a little traffic.. Yea~ That’s all for our trip~ Nice, sleepy, hot and tired.. =P

I didn’t blog for a whole week as I was terribly sick last week.. I suspected I was having dengue fever, luckily it wasn’t.. =P Now still left mild flu like that la.. Luckily almost recovered over the past weekend, or else I can’t be in Melaka then.. T.T
Last Saturday I went to Melaka with my sister, it was a 2 days 1 night trip.. We took bus from Pudu Raya at 8:30am and reached Melaka Sentral around 10:30am.. Then we took a Town Bus from there to Jonker Street there.. So it was 11++am after we checked in at Hotel Puri located behind the Jonker Street.. =) The hotel was quite nice, it’s a boutique hotel, got some ancient feel.. It was actually a house of a rich fella back then and was sold to this owner.. After we rest for awhile, we start walk from hotel to the Christ Church place.. Wow, very sunny~ We had a bowl of Cendol before taking photos at the red red church there.. After that we were directionless, so we took a bus to Dataran Pahlawan.. Cheated our RM2, the Dataran Pahlawan was just a turning behind that Christ Church place.. =.="
Wah, the Dataran Pahlawan was quite spacious and nice.. But the placing of the shops inside was abit confusing, don’t know where to walk from and walk to.. I took a picture with a Starbucks outlet there.. XD Then we had our lunch at a Cafe called De Fun & Tea Cafe.. Something like Food and Tea in BTS.. I had a Fried Nissin with Beef and some curry fish balls.. Wah, the fish balls very nice… =P’ Then we walked up the Dataran Pahlawan, and it was actually very near to the Kota A Famosa Fortress.. So we went and take picture and explore around… Took pictures of the Dutch graveyard also.. Then there is St. Paul Church.. And from there we can actually walk back to the Christ Church place.. Lagi feel that our RM2 kena cheated.. >.<*
Then we went back to hotel to take a bath and have some rest.. We went out around 5++pm again for Sate Celup.. We walked to Jln. Bukit China there, there is a quite famous Sate Celup restaurant called Restaurant Capitol.. Wow, it was already full by the time we reached, few people were in queue for seats somemore.. 50cents per stick.. We didn’t really eat much as we already ate alot in the day time.. Was still very full.. We ate only around 26 sticks like that, then we quickly left as the queue got longer and longer.. It was only 7pm when we reach Jonker Street, the sky was still bright and there were still not many stalls opened.. So we slowly walked from the front of the walk… There were many stalls selling accessories especially earrings.. And also they sell alot of pirated Bear Bricks la.. Don’t know why they like Bear Brick so much but some of them are nice too.. XD Then we walked until like 8++pm and stopped at one of the dessert shop for Cendol, again.. That was some Baba style Cendol with gula melaka instead of the regular sugar syrup.. Very sticky.. =.=" Then we continue walked until around 10pm, and sis got to buy some cookies from a very scary auntie.. She will force u to buy alot of her stuffs one.. Good business skill.. >.<"
Then we went back to take shower again, as we were sweating all the time.. Then we went to one of the bistro near Jonker street there for a drink, as it was only around 11pm.. So we had a bottle of Carlsberg and an orange juice.. Haha, share share ma.. My sister said drink some alcohol can sleep well after that.. We sat until around 12am then we left la, cause was damn tired and sleepy… Sister bluff me.. I drank half bottle of the Carlsberg, can’t sleep also.. Ended up I only managed to fall asleep at 6am.. =.="

Today is 07.07.07~~~ What a nice day.. XD How are you my friends? =P Anyway, first of all, today is my cousin’s birthday.. So I want to wish her Happy Birthday, Ying Jie Jie~ Hope you are as pretty as ever… =)
Today I met with my schoolmates, YiPei, Joyce and Beryl in Mid Valley.. Thought of finding YiPei for outing before she starts her new semester on Monday… So me and YiPei arrived first and we went to CoDo, a Vietnamese restaurant on 3rd floor, to wait for Joyce’s arrival.. Hmm, first time been there, spacious and environment wasn’t bad, because it’s located on the upper level of Little Vietnam.. The food on menu looks attractive with reasonable price and the service was good… Me and YiPei shared a set for two which consists of some Vietnamese Siu Mai, don’t know what wrapper roll, something taste like meatball, clam rice and some noodle in soup.. Haha, forgot to look at the menu once again to see what I have eaten.. =P Joyce ordered a Chargrilled Chicken set, tastes not bad also.. The set was too huge for us, but we managed to clear all la~ Thanks to YiPei.. =P Anyway, the food was quite nice.. Not bad.. And they did some stamping on a long paper on our table.. They said that’s for luck… =\
After makan and shopped for a while, Beryl came at last.. XD So we accompanied her for makan again in Nandos.. She macam didn’t eat for 3 centuries.. =P We were very full to eat, so we just stole and makan the sidelines from Beryl’s dish… =P When she almost finished her meal, me and Joyce went to Breadtalk to buy a piece of "Fruits Fields" cake for her to celebrate her birthday which falls on 10th July.. We walked back to Nandos and some customers there for lighter to light up the candle.. (Why I always have to do this thing? The same thing that I have done in KK for Vincent’s birthday celebration… =.=" I don’t want to do it again, so please don’t ask me to buy anyone cake AGAIN!!! >.<*) She looked suprise when saw the cake, hope she’s happy of this small celebration la.. We sang the birthday song so softly and she blowed the tiny candle on the tiny cake.. Touching or onot? Touching or not? =P Happy 21st Birthday in advance to dearest Beryl!!! ^.^ May all your wishes come true… I gave her a piece of top for present.. Joyce and YiPei shared a belt for her… =) Then we walked out happily for Carreffour and we almost forgot to pay the bill… >.<" We walked until the entrance and I suddenly asked loudly "Have we paid?" =.="…………………. Somemore walked so happily.. Very embarassing, everyone was looking at us… T.T
So right after YiPei got her things in Carrefour, we headed back as she wanted to rush back home for family dinner… So that’s the end of a boring and embarassing day… =P Oh, me and Joyce continued walking in Central Market once we reached KL.. Haha.. She got a new piercing on her ear also.. XD Thanks to me, forcing her to do so.. Lala~~

Today went to BTS for Transformers with YChen… Before movie we went to Rock Delight for lunch.. First time eat there and I ordered Cheezy Fish Omellete.. Sounds tasty leh? Actually just a fillet in omellete.. =)
Ok, back to the movie.. Transformers, a movie of 2 and half hours, is starred by Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox and Josh Duhamel (The lengchai.. XD).. It was about the protagonist autobots came to the Earth to claim back a cube called Allsparks which contains some special power in order to rebuild their planet after some war with the villain fella, Megatron.. At the same time, this Megatron fella’s follower, Starscream also came for the cube.. The route to this cube was actually engraved on something that the main lead, Sam possesses.. Watch to find out what it is.. So these two parties of robots searched for Sam in order to reach this cube.. The car that Sam’s dad bought for him was one of the autobots’ member.. So many things happened to stop the Decepticons to gain the Allsparks thingy… Oh, I didn’t mention about the lengchai yet… Josh Duhamel was a soldier’s captain, Captain Lennox who was with the US Army and don’t know why ended up fighting the robots… Hahaha.. Anyway, memang lengchai la… =P
Hmmm.. About my opinion on this movie.. This movie can be categorised as fantastic la.. The scenes are very real and detailed, no matter on the fighting, transforming or scenes of the military force thingy.. The autobots are so real and cool.. Yea, I especially like the transformation of Optimus Prime, the head of the Autobots.. Very yeng.. Somemore he’s the only one who is so shiny shiny one.. Others all look like old rotten steel.. Hehe… Really nice, no wonder have to be cooperated by two huge companies in producing this movie… I wonder how it feels to watch it in IMAX… Those who haven’t watch it, can try in IMAX.. I think it will look greater, if you don’t have heart attack… Ngohoho.. XD

Oh, did I mention in the previous blogs that I watched Surf’s Up in KK’s Cathay Cineplex? I think I did la~ We watched the 11:45pm show and we were very tired even before the show started.. The cinema was too cold until I think some of us fell asleep.. Hehe.. Anyway back to the movie… =P
It’s an animation of 1 and a half hours and was voice casted by some people whom I don’t recognise..Ngohoho.. It was about a penguin, Cody (Eh, malao, since when you became a penguin? =P).. This Cody fella likes to surf alot influenced by his idol, Big Z (A big big penguin fella who’s surfing skill is considered as a legend and won lots of competition).. But this Big Z fella died after lost to another penguin fella called Tank in a competition.. So there’s a Big Z memorial cup competition which they assemble surfers all over the islands for this competition and Cody was one of them.. Then many things happened while they were in an island for this competition la~
The story was abit boring and slamber la.. Like they just simply created the plots.. The penguins were cute la, and some of the jokes were quite funny also… I don’t whether it’s because we watched it when we were only quarter conscious or really this animation is not that interesting la.. I felt like wasting my time watching it, compare to the previous penguin animation (What was the name already? Totally forgot XD).. So if you haven’t watch this animation, I guess you should know whether to watch or not la~ Anyway, the ticket fee in Cathay KK was only RM5, cheaper than student price in KL… XD So I don’t mind paying RM5 for this kind of animation geh… =P
