YuMi’s pLaCe~

Our last day of Sabah trip which was the 28th June, was Vincent’s birthday… Wish him a Happy Belated 21st Birthday first, may all your wishes come true… XD On the last day, I planned to check out on 11am, so that they could have enough sleep before going out the whole day as our flight had been delayed to 10:55pm.. So late.. =.=" But I woke up at 8 something to take my bath as I didn’t bath the previous night after came back from movie.. =P After that Ling Ling also woke up so as the day before, we went for breakfast after her bath…

Chun Mei and Vincent woke up a bit late, so we check out at around 11:30am.. At first my plan was to visit the Rafflesia Park (Never saw Rafflesia before) but the tourism board fellar said now is not the blooming season for Rafflesia.. T.T So we don’t want to waste time travel there so far but no rafflesia la.. We changed venue to Wetland Centre… I saw that place from website and it is very near to town area.. There weren’t any cars at the parking lot at Wetland.. So we thought they already stopped operating.. Haha.. But still open la.. The admission fees is RM2 for student… And I can tell you that normally the price reflects the place la¬ Along the hot, long, sunny, stupiak journey in the Wetland, we only saw 3 birds flew over.. Alot of paya bakau trees… With slippers and wasted tyres in the water.. Saw lizards also, which scared me.. They bluffed my RM2.. T.T Totally nothing inside man¬¬¬ >.<* So nexttime if you happen to go KK, don’t go to the Wetland!! If it stil exists…. =P

After that we went to Centrepoint for lunch cause we want to enjoy the aircon after being bluff to walk on a sunny day at the Wetland for so long.. =P We walked from Warisan Square to Centrepoint but there weren’t many special F&B outlets, all fast food lor… =.=" So we ate in KFC in Centrepoint.. Tried the Chicken Chop thingy.. Not bad, but not the mushroom soup… =) Then me and Chun Mei planned to buy a cake for Vincent from Secret Recipe, so we bluffed him that we are going to toilet.. Who knows we went too long and he started to worry about Chun Mei.. So he became stunt instead of happy when saw us singing Birthday song for him… =P Sorry to make you worry… Plan half failed… =.="

The cake still left half cause we were too full after KFC, so we decided to take the cake to my Grandma house for them.. Soon bin ta pao 3 bottles of Kiwiberry for my Grandma too, she likes that¬ XD Then after that we went to Tjg. Aru again to snap some photos in the afternoon and we started to cover cover the holes that those crabs made on the beach with sand.. Haha, nothing better to do.. Then it started to rain, so we left for Menara Tun Mustapha (Yayasan Sabah)..

We took some pictures with the water bottle-liked building and we went to Atmosphere at 18th floor for drinks.. The environment there is really nice.. I like it, it’s actually something like a pub/cafe but their drinks are in reasonable prices.. =) We sat at the place which can see sunset.. So we took many photos of the sunset.. XD And this pub has very nice chairs, all in different styles and shapes.. Haha, I had some smoothies, tasted nice too.. =) Their service is good, the waiters and waitresses are friendly.. And the cafe is a revolving cafe lai de… Only at certain time I guess.. Vincent thought himself was too tired and saw like the floor was revolving back then.. Haha…

Then we left at around 8pm for airport to return the rented car, confirm the flight time and check in.. Then we sat at Terminal 2 for 2 hours before boarding.. The airport had been renovated, so it looks much better compare to last time when I went with my family.. =) The flight took off at 5 minutes past 11pm and arrived LCCT here at 1:10am, I think the pilot sped very fast ne.. XD We had Maggi Cup in flight too, too hungry cause didn’t have dinner.. Thought of eating the sandwiches but their sandwiches and nasi lemak are finished… Sad…. Anyway, we arrived back in KL safely and I reached home at around 3am…

Thanks guys and girls, I had a great time in KK.. Especially to Vincent as he was our driver throughout the trip.. I thought the trip will be boring but it turned out to be alot of fun.. Hope we can have another trip together soon.. And I want to wish Good Luck to Ling Ling as she’s living for Australia next week.. Wish you all the best and will miss you much.. Let me continue with second day’s story… Ehhemm~ As I planned earlier, we would be heading towards the bottom of Mount Kinabalu.. (Didn’t plan to climb the mountain, no stamina, sorry~ =P) I planned to leave hostel at 9am, so I woke up at 6 something in the morning so that I could pleasantly enjoy my breakfast.. Lala~ It looks like KL’s 8++am when I woke up.. Haha.. Ling Ling woke up right after my bath and we had our nice breakfast comfortably~ Toasted breads complimented by the hostel.. =P

After that, we walked to the Tourism Board to ask for direction to the mount while waiting for the rest to get ready… We drove almost 2 hours to reach the Kinabalu Park… Thanks Vincent once again for driving us~ Sat until my backside also flat already.. =.=" First of all, we went for lunch in Balsam’s Cafe.. A very comfortable cafe with nice atmosphere, sceneries and views.. It wasn’t very cold that time but was quite cooling with slight wind.. Feel like sitting in an aircon room.. =) Since we were so cold, we ordered meals such as Tom Yam and Curry Chicken~ But they got cold very fast, after few bites.. Hehe…

Then we walk around the park, it took us about an hour to finish the whole track~ And there were some slopes at the end of the track… We really have no stamina at all, tiring~ T.T Along the park there were many chalets for rent~ Wah, nice eh those chalets.. Then there’s fitness centre and botanical garden~ We finished with the Kinabalu Park at around 1++pm and we stopped by at Pekan Nabalu for some souvenirs~ hehe… By the time we arrived at hostel was already 5pm…

Then we went out again at 6pm to the Waterfront for some photos~ It is a long street with pubs and bars, and the street is very happening at night.. After that we went for seafood somewhere nearby la~ Very expensive~ Kena "thong"… T.T Haha.. Then we had nothing better to do after makan, and we had bought midnight show tickets for Surf’s Up~ Wanted to watch "Alone" but there wasn’t any midnight show for that.. >.<" So we went to have drinks in Coffee Beans at the Waterfront.. Wow, their outlet there very spacious and have many couch areas.. I like I like (Sorry that I’ve betrayed Starbucks.. Haha XD) I had Iced Vanilla Latte and we sat for almost 2 hours.. Talked crap, laughed and rested there.. Anyway, the staff there abit blur~ I said "Can I have a small Iced Vanilla Latte?", he asked me back "You want the hot one?".. =.=" What it means by Iced Vanilla Latte aa? =P

Then we went for movie at 11:45pm.. We all already quarter conscious that time.. Because we had gone out for the whole day and yet we still want to watch midnight show~ And the cinema was very cold and scary.. Chun Mei slept during the show.. Haha… So we reach hostel around 1++am and straight away slept without taking bath.. Haha~ Dirty ne~~~ But too bad, me and Ling Ling was oni left 1/10 conscious…. =P So that’s all for the second day of our boring trip~ XD

Harlow everybody again~ I’m back from my Sabah trip… Last Tuesday I went back to my dearest hometown with Ling Ling, Vincent, Chun Mei and YT.. It was a 3 days and 3 nights trip, and was quite tired ’cause I didn’t really sleep for those 3 days.. >.<"

Our flight was at 7am on Tuesday so we decided to arrive at LCCT 2 hours earlier.. So we kiasu abit and wanted to take the earliest bus from KL Sentral at 3:30am.. =P Yes, and rare thing happened.. Alina forgot to set alarm and she woke up at 3am when everyone was already arrived KL Sentral.. XD Luckily still managed to reach on time.. And it only took about 50 minutes to arrive LCCT, so we were there quite early la.. Then after makan breakfast in McD, we board the flight lor..

We reached Terminal 2 in KK at 9:30am and we straight headed to AKinabalu Hostel in Gaya Street after getting the car… The hostel that I stayed last year with my family.. Hehe, still a nice place but many people la, full house.. Luckily we booked few months before… Since it was still early and there were still no rooms for us, we decided to leave our luggage there and travel to our first destination, the Monsopiad Cultural Village~ Oh ya, KK has very serious traffic jam la, no matter what time it was.. I think they don’t have to work or what.. =.=" And almost everyone drives four wheel vehicle leh~ >.<"

It took about half hour to reach the village la, it located quite deep inside the road in a kampung called Kampung Ramayah~ Hooray to Vincent for driving us there and didn’t got lost along the journey.. =P

The entrance fee was RM15 for student and we were given rice wine as welcome drinks.. Wah lao~ That wine contained high alcohol ler… Only had 2 or 3 sips of it.. Then the guide there brought us to see their lifestyles, play the games of those villagers, and she too showed us some history of their keturunan~ The guide was very friendly and funny.. She showed us the House of Skulls which is a place where their Headhunter ancestors keep their enemies’ skulls.. After that, we were brought to a small hall for performances by the Kadazans~ Then some of us were invited up to the stage to dance with them… Everyone there enjoyed the performances and I saw the mat sallehs were quite happy.. =P Oh, we went to take pictures on the hanging bridge there too… Scared scared.. T.T

Then we went back to hostel to get our rooms and rest awhile.. About 5pm, Vincent sent me to my Grandma house and they went back to Gaya Street for dinner after that.. I lepak in my Grandma house until around 8pm and they came and picked me up after their dinner… After that we headed to Tanjung Aru to see BEACH~~ XD Was drizzling that time.. >.<" So we played awhile with the sea water and sand (Macam budak kecik =.=") and we then sat at the staircase facing the sea with our corns, drinks and peacals~ =P’

Wah, the night was very romantic~ Vincent and Chun Mei very syok as they can pak tor while looking at the sea while me and Ling Ling just sat there and chat chat chat chat chat… XD We went back at 10++pm (It looked like it was already 12am =\) and we were extremely tired because we started to travel the day before without sleep~ +.+" So we straight away slept after taking bath and that’s all for the first day of our boring trip.. Haha.. But I really enjoyed it la, Monsopiad Village is really a must go place if you guys go KK.. Hope others too enjoyed the trip… =)

Yesterday, 21st June 2007, we, 4 of CS (Convent Sentul =P) girls went to Genting again… =P There were me, YChen, Suk Teng and Yi-Pei.. This is my 6th visit to Genting in one and half year, and the 3rd Genting trip with YChen… Haha.. Remember about one year ago, on 19th June, I went there with Suk Teng, YiPei and Joyce also.. Haha, too bad that Joyce has started working, so she can’t join us this time..

We met at KL Sentral at 7:30am to rush for 8am bus… So we arrived Skyway station at around 9am, there weren’t many people la, quite quiet also.. Maybe it was still early, everyone was still sleeping.. Earlier I tried to book room for that day, but First World Hotel was fully book, I thought it should be very crowded.. Luckily.. Then we arrived outdoor themepark around 9:30am and redeemed our FREE themepark tickets XD (Thanks Yi-Pei for getting us free tickets.. )

The first ride we took was pirate ship as they never try that before.. It was only us and another 4 people on the ship that time, so we sat the uppest row, yeah~ felt the cool air.. Nice as first ride~ =) Then we went for Cyclone.. As I knew photo will be taken on the first slope of the ride, I told them to look at the camera and pose… But ended up they all looks like sour plum in the photo.. I smiled but couldn’t see my eyes.. =P After that, we wanted to chilled a bit, so we played bumper boat… My jeans were totally wet la, i don’t know why.. >.<" Each time I bumped others or vice versa, the water sure splashed back to me one.. Even my butt part also totally wet.. =.=" Since we already half wet, so we went for Sungai Rejang Ride straight away… =P I sat with Suk Teng, and YChen with Yi-Pei.. We even got to take photos of our wet look.. After "wetting" ourselves, we went to next door, which was the something something Thunder Train to dry ourselves.. I guess we should take twice to dry more.. Haha..

After that, we went for Cork Screw.. Hmmm… Don’t know why I still felt a bit scared during the turning upside down part.. Haha, don’t really dare to open my eyes.. So we decided to take it for second time later on.. Then we went for Space Shot, there was an Indian uncle sat beside me and Suk Teng, and we started to chat during the ride.. Haha… Chat while falling, so weird.. Yi-Pei supposed to be scared at first but she enjoyed it very much.. XD After that, they went for the Spinner but I didn’t ride that.. I can’t stand those rides that spin and turn, I’ll guarantee vomit after the rides.. So I just sat beside the ride and watch.. Heard them screamed my name while on the Spinner.. =.=" Miss me so much meh?

After that we went to Dinosaurland.. Frankly, this is the first time I entered Dinosaurland, so we took the boat.. =) Errmmm, nothing special la, just dinosaurs~ Haha, got some story telling thing in between la.. Then they dropped us somewhere which we could walk around and take photos.. Got hanging bridge somemore, but I didn’t went up, scared of hanging bridges due to some childhood memories… Ngohoho.. =P But we took quite alot of photos there la..

After all was already 2pm and we went back to First World Plaza for lunch.. We went to the Kopitiam Food Court upstairs.. =) Me and YChen ate Taiwanese meal (again.. =.=").. Suk Teng and Yi-Pei had claypot thingy.. Mine was Five Spices chicken chop rice la, not bad, I finished the whole plate.. =P We 4 girls felt extremely sleepy after makan, so we went to walk around indoor first.. Went to BUM City, Padini Concept Store and the Chinese Culture Exhibition stalls thingy…

Then we planned to go outdoor again, thought of taking another nice shot in Cyclone but it started to rain when it was almost our turn.. T.T So had to go back to indoor, but before that we stopped by a stall for soft ice cream… Yummy~ But the chocolate flavour tasted abit weird.. I prefer the one sold in Jusco Mid Valley more… XD Then we sat at the Only Convenient Store in indoor and had Twisties together sambil chit chatting.. Was telling ghost stories there, blame YChen on starting the ghost story telling session… =.="

There was some cultural dance performances at indoor around 6pm, so we stopped by awhile to watch those.. After that we went outdoor again and we got a nice shot on Cyclone.. Me and Yi-Pei managed to pose PEACE~~ in the photo happily.. Hahha.. Then we went for Cork Screw again.. This time Yi-Pei forced me to open my eyes during the turning part.. Haha, managed to open la, but still feel scared~ Then it started drizzling~ But the staff there gave us another round of ride as the last time before closing due to the rain.. I wanted to get down but he didn’t saw me raising my hand.. T.T So we went another round directly after that in SUPER HEAVY rain.. None of us managed to open our eyes and we were totally wet.. Felt pain also hit by the rain.. Sad~ After all I still couldn’t open my eyes due to my contact lenses.. T.T And we were extremely cold~ >.<" Went to the toilet and rebut for the hand dryer to warm ourselves up.. Pity nyer~ =.=" Then we went to First World Plaza again to dry up ourselves and I bought a cup of hot tea in Starbucks~ Felt extremely dizzy after all… But luckily got better after drinking the tea.. Then we rushed back to Skyway station to go back to lower station for bus at 8:30am.. Haha, so rush and tired, luckily we managed to be there on time.. The bus boarded not long after we got up~ Yes~ That’s end of the journey… Memorable and tired… =P

I guess I won’t be going to Genting anymore, at least in a year time.. Boring with the rides already, I went there more often than I go KLCC.. =P More photos are available in my Facebook album 1 and album 2…

Today went to MV for movie with YChen.. Have to go shopping (Window only.. =P) during Mega Sales and before YChen’s classes start.. So we went for lunch in Little Taiwan before movie.. Went there 3 years ago, but they added more choices into the menu.. So the menu looks great, especially the Taiwanese snacks.. =P’ So I ordered set lunch of Five Spices Beef Noodle with Jasmine Tea for only RM9.90.. XD YChen ate Pork Chop Rice and Bubble Milk Pearl Tea.. We also ordered Taiwanese style Tempura for snacks.. ^.^ All also not bad but the beef very hard to bite and chew… =.="

Then we went for Fantastic Four: Rise of Silver Surfer.. I remember the first movie was few years back, so I kind of forgot the story line.. =P Luckily I remember as I watch this one.. ^.^ It runs for about 1 and half hour, starred by the same old artists: Ioan Gruffudd, Jessica Alba, Chris Evans, Michael Chiklis.. =) So this movie started on a silver surfer which surfs the destroyer, came to the Earth to destroy the planet.. Wherever he flew passed, also turned into ice or something la because of the….. radiation cause kutt.. Haha.. Then the US Army general went and find Reed to settle the problem but Reed was preparing for a wedding with Susan~~ Then blah blah blah, the Fantastic Four failed to capture the silver surfer at first.. So the general went and find Van Doom, whom supposed to be death since the previous episode.. Lala, watch to find out why he is alive back.. =P Then they managed to capture the surfer and that stupiak Doom took the surf board and became unbeatable.. But the problem is that the destroyer will detect the location of the surf board and eat up the planet where it went… Then Fantastic Four of course have to save the Earth~~ How they did it? Watch lor~ XD

Hmm.. I think this movie is kind of nice la, interesting.. And very funny.. Jessica Alba is sooooooooooooooooooo gorgeous.. Really fell deeply in love with her.. ^.^ Must watch la~ Simple and interesting movie.. XD

Halo evverribodii… ^.^ Yesterday Yumika excitedly went for studio photo shooting.. The first time ever in her life… =P So the previous day my sister sponsor me to go for manicure and nail art so that my fingers look better in photos.. Thanks Jie2… XD The nail art quite satisfying la, got flower flower somemore… =B

So dad fetched me and sis to De Paris Image Bridal Shop in Loke Yew about 10:30am.. Brought many clothes, shoes and accessories there.. So kua jeong.. =.=" We waited until 11am for them to bring us to the make up room..

There were already 3 couples in the room readying for photo shooting.. So I waited until about 12pm only the make up artist and the hairstylist were free to layan me.. T.T Waited so long.. The first set of clothes were brought by myself de.. So they got me a simple image.. XD Was very nervous when started to take pictures that time… There were 2 photographer, a lengchai and an uncle.. Unfortunately, I got the uncle photographer.. >.<" Haha, biarla~ He was quite humourous also.. Some poses that he wanted me to do are like doing acrobat.. Sorry la, my waist and backbone very hard.. T.T

Then I changed another set of clothes of mine.. The second hairstyle was quite yeng.. I like it.. Then sampai the third clothes, their costume.. Very loose, even pinned with safety pin, it still keep on falling during photo shooting time.. =.=" By that time was already 4pm++, very tired and lost focus already.. The uncle keep on asking me to be more energetic.. But I can’t even listen what the photographer were saying… Ngohoho… By that time too, my back bone already numb.. Very pain… Feel like old Auntie.. T.T Then changed to the last set of costume which was some traditional Chinese Empress’ gown… Wah lao, the fella helped me set a hairstyle which makes me looks like a tree… =.=" Haha.. But very nice la the gown, it was in green… I wanted to faint by the end of the day..

I finished the whole session at about 6pm.. Penat nyer~ Longer than working hours la.. >.<" And I can see the results and choose the photos on the next few days.. Hope the photo results are nice la.. The uncle photographer kept on laughing at my poses… Sad case… T.T

First of all, Happy Belated Birthday to my best friend, Miss YChen~~ XD Welcome for joining me at 21st Club… =P So we can enter Casino already.. Hehe… Her birthday was on yesterday la, but yesterday was celebration with her family, so we went out today.. The usual 3 went out today to Sg.Wang for lunch.. Me, YChen and Siew.. =)

I arrived slightly earlier than them.. Then YChen came, and we went to Hot Mama at 4th floor while waiting for Siew to come.. Yes~ She was late and I was starving.. T.T Why treat me like that…. Haha, so we had the Cheese Canai Roll(Don’t know the exact name =P).. Then me and Siew ordered Grilled Lamb Chop and YChen ate Grilled Chicken.. =) They come with some Grape Sprite drinks~ XD After chit chatting and gossiping for some time, we took photos at Hot Mama before heading for a short shopping.. ^.^ Hmmm, let me comment a bit on Hot Mama.. I went there last few years (Actually I was the one who suggested to makan there.. XD).. They have nice and spacious environment, good service.. The food isn’t bad la.. But the Grilled Chicken that YChen had, I believe it was from a baby chick.. =P Anyway, thanks YChen for the wonderful lunch.. =)

Before we went for shopping, we stopped by at Dream World for photo stickers.. Bad result.. T.T Chose a stupiak machine which only can see our three big heads and bright till cannot see our noses.. >.<" Wasted our RM26 la~~ ($#)(%^()!@)@@! Then we walked for awhile lor, Siew and YChen got to buy a top each.. =) After that Siew had to rush back to church for dance practice.. Me and YChen continued walking.. XD After all, we went back to Dream World to take photo stickers since it was already x years since I last took with YChen alone… XD

Then we waited for a machine cost us RM16 only and the result turned out to be better than the first time.. Quite satisfied la, except for our "don’t know how to pose" poses… =P Nevermind, show you guys later… =) Then we passed by the comic shops where there were alot of gashapon eggs to turn.. RM8 once.. And we tried the one contains Disney Characters’ pins… XD And lucky! We got the two that we wanted.. The nicest two~ ^.^v Really nice la the pin.. I like it so much… =)

Then due to too late already, so muka tembok Alina asked YChen to fetch me home… Hehehe… Malas want to take monorail la.. Thanks YChen… Thanks for treating us lunch, thanks for shopping with me and crazy with me.. =P Felt happy to see Siew too after she disappeared for so long.. Haha.. And Sorry to YChen because didn’t buy a card nor a cake for you.. Next time ganti back k? Hehe.. Oh ya, me and Siew gave YChen a Baby-G watch.. Hope she likes it.. Once again, Happy Belated Birthday… =*

Yesterday forgot to blog on Shrek 3.. Hehe, was too happily chatting with YChen.. Yesterday I went to KLCC for Shrek 3.. ‘Cause I always go Mid Valley and BTS for movie, a bit sien already… The last time I went to KLCC was more than a year ago la.. And now the TGV there full of Indian patrons already… >.<"

About the show, it runs for 1 and half hour la~ Voice casted by Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy and Cameron Diaz.. =) It was about the King of Far Far Away (Fiona’s father) died and Shrek is the successor of the King… But since he thinks himself is an ogre, so he went and find for the next in line successor which is Arthur, Fiona’s cousin… At the same time Fiona was pregnant but Shrek wasn’t that happy thinking of having ogre babies soon.. I guess most people already watched Shrek 3, those who haven’t, then go watch la~ =P

It’s a very funny movie as I expected la~ Especially the Donkey and Puss.. The Donkey and Elizabeth’s (I guess that’s her name) kids super cute la~ XD Then many character of Fairy Tales appeared, but very old already and look very fierce… =.=" But overall it’s funny and cute la~ Haha.. Must watch, must watch.. XD

Shrek the Third… XD

Hey all~ I’m finally in Merdeka mode!!! XD Waited for so long.. This semester seemed to be very long and exhausting.. Assignments non stop and exam.. >.<" Today finally did my last paper~ Yesterday I studied until fainted (Now I understand why Ryan fainted due to the stressness of assignments T.T).. But luckily I was OK when I woke up this morning, but my brain totally blank… =.=" Then I went for this stupiak 2-hour paper.. He should make it 3 hours la, I was rushing to finish the whole paper, even without thinking thoroughly, but don’t care la.. The most important thing is that I’m FREE now!!!! At least for a month la~ The beginning few weeks of my holiday will be quite busy, planned for many things (Hope these activities go well >.<)..

Ok, back to first day of Merdeka.. Right after handed in the stupiak exam paper, I went to Sg. Wang to meet Joyce for lunch before having K session in Green Box.. This is the first time of K-ing there after they have changed from Red Box to Green Box.. Basically everything is same, only the color changed.. =P The "lessness" of song choices can still be seen… =P And the unfriendliness of using their system of choosing songs… -.-* We sang for 3 hours for around RM8 per person.. With unlimited free drinks and titbits.. Not bad la, but people like us also won’t bother their free things la, we just want to sing with our out of pitch (and also tone) voices.. XD Sang until voice also taklak already.. =P We somemore on the music and mic volume until so loud and sing.. Haha, luckily they didn’t chase us away.. Other customers also kena scared away later… XP

Hmm… I still prefer Neway ler, they have more songs and their songs are more updated… Green Box doesn’t really have many English and Malay songs compare to Neway.. But Neway’s Happy Hour is only 2 hours for students… Bully us… T.T

Oh, saw Loi-kun when we were shopping around.. He said he’s going to Melbourne next month to further studies wah… Bagus bagus… Bring me Koala Bear and don’t miss me… =P Take care oo~ XD

Harlow eberibodi~ Haha… I went to work two days ago after curi tulang-ing for few weeks, and realised that Starbucks has entered the second phase of Summer~ XD Apa itu?? Hehe, remember Yumika had introduced everyone on our Banana Chip Frappuccino last month on our Summer promotion? So now we has started our second promotion line for this Summer.. Let me introduced to you all the Azuki Frappuccino Blended Coffee (and also Blended Cream)… ^.^v So what actually is Azuki? As I expected, it is a type of red bean.. I’ve been informed that Azuki bean, is a kind of red bean from Japan (as sounded by its name.. Konnichiwa, Azuki bean-san =P).. It is widely used by Japanese to do dessert, soup paste and etc… Heard that Azuki Frappuccino is available in Japan’s branches.. =)

I’ve tasted the one with Blended Cream.. Hmmm… Taste ok, quite sweet and it tastes more like strawberry than red bean in fact… =P 90% is sweet la~ XD Too bad, didn’t get a chance to taste the Coffee based… Don’t want to have it as my employee beverage, looks fattening!!!! >.<" Then we also have new pastry which is the Azuki Scone… =D’ Obviously, it is a scone with Azuki paste la… =.=" Hmmm.. Didn’t know that Starbucks has changed its scone’s outlook.. It got a pizza look with Azuki paste filled the center of the pieces of scones like that… I finished almost the whole scone, as they have sampled it until they don’t feel like eating it anymore.. =P It’s nice… But the Azuki is still very sweet.. I like Starbucks’ english scone since lasttime, so it is nice for me… But the scone sticked onto everywhere of my teeth.. >.<" Anyway, it taste like a bolder "tau sah peng" that we normally have in Chinese wedding… =P

Another new item for Summer is the Azuki Cheese Cake!!! =D I tasted the cake too.. It is a very de complicated cake.. =.=" The top layer is white chocolate cheese (I can’t taste any chocolate though) covering strawberry soaked sponge layers (Yea, here I can taste the strong strawberry =P).. And in between there is Azuki paste layer.. Very hard for me to describe the taste la, as too many types of taste combined together… Something like Blueberry Cheese Cake + Stawberry.. So where is the red bean taste? i don’t know… =P Anyway, this cake is sold for RM9.90 instead of RM8.80 (price of other cakes..) due to the complicated way of the production… =.="

So you guys can drop by Starbucks some day to try on our newly released food and beverages oo~ XD Enjoy your Summer with Azuki bean-san~~ (Although there isn’t a Summer in Malaysia)..
