YuMi’s pLaCe~

Two days ago was Yi-Pei’s birthday celebration, and today was one of my close friends, Joyce a.k.a XinYing’s birthday party.. =) Today is also my bad hair day.. T.T Joyce invited us (the schoolmates), her collegemates and her family members for a Hi-Tea session in Legend Hotel.. XD Too bad, only me, Yeen Nee, Hiu Mun, Yi-Pei, Soo Teng and Siew presented today from the CS gang.. Many of them not free it seemed.. >.<" We arrived about 1pm, took LRT with Yi-Pei and Yeen Nee.. =)

So we went to this Restaurant called Di-Atas in Legend, and it was very pack with people.. =.=" What day is today? I’ve never seen a hotel’s restaurant that is so crowded.. And there were many Indians staying there these two days (Saw them when I worked yesterday too) They somemore requested to take pictures with us while we were waiting for Joyce to come and take us in.. =.=" Ka Ka Cao Cao..

Since it was too crowded, I couldn’t really take what I wanted to eat.. So I just took some fried stuffs for the first round.. (Forgot to take pictures of the food I ate T.T) Had a nice time eating and chatting with them, as it was quite long since I last met Soo Teng.. And she’s kinda joker, nice to talk to.. ^-^ Birthday girl was kind of busy this afternoon, running here and there talking to everyone and counting the number of friends present.. =P But got chance to take photos with her too la.. My hair looked extremely suck today, but don’t care la, I’m not the main character today.. XD Joyce looked great today, with her new top and nice hairstyle.. =)

Then I went to take some pastries and cakes for second round.. XD I sapu the cendol that Yeen Nee took also.. =P’ By the time I finished all, I already can’t move.. Don’t know why got full so fast after only 2 rounds.. =P Soo Teng couldn’t even finish her second round, guess she had a heavy breakfast this morning.. =P

Then only Siew arrived around 2pm.. Not long before cake cutting session.. Joyce had a black forest cake this year.. XD Siew then got to chat and take photos with us for about 2 hours before leaving at 4pm.. Such a busy girl.. =P Actually we all also left about 4pm and went to The Mall to buy something as well as to find Venu in Starbucks for awhile.. Then we all jau headed home la~ Joyce got many presents this year ler~ XD I bought her a small gold color handbag with a very vintage type of pin.. She seemed to like them very much, especially the pin.. I’m glad of that.. ^_^ But too bad, she got another two bags from her sister and her college friend.. =.="

Anyway, thanks for inviting me for your celebration session, really had a great time although it’s just few hours.. Tomorrow is the exact day of Joyce’s birthday.. So I want to wish Joyce, Happy 21st Birthday!!! Enjoy your day tomorrow and may all your wishes come true.. Hope to go out with you soon right after my assignment submission.. Looking forward for that.. XD And not forgetting, Friends Forever too!!! ^-^V

Aiyak, just past 12am ler.. Nevermind, yesterday 27th April was our schoolmate, Yi-Pei’s 21st birthday.. Earlier, she had invited us earlier for a birthday dinner in a chinese restaurant in Sentul.. After that she changed the venue to Pizza Hut pulak, also in Sentul.. (Easier for us to go ma..) =) But YChen and I really wanted to eat Fried Chicken Wings from that chinese restaurant.. T.T

So Siew fetched me and Suk Teng around 7pm and we arrived at Pizza Hut there slightly later.. But Ee Lynn(Long lost senior =P) was the latest.. XD So those who present were me (of course =P), Siew, XinYing, YChen, SukTeng, YeenNee, EeLynn, YiSan, YiHua, one of Yi-Pei’s cousins (Sorry, forgot to ask for her name.. =P) and of course the birthday girl, Yi-Pei.. =) As soon as EeLynn arrived we started our dinner with soup + breadstix + Perfetto Wrap + Pizzas (There were 3 flavours but I only tried Hawaiian and Masala >.<").. Then was photo taking session as usual.. We all ran around like monkeys and took photos (and made loud noise =P) while everyone in the restaurant was looking at us.. Then we got to chat with each other on our current conditions before cake cutting session.. =) There were two birthday cakes, one from us, one from the family.. But both were bought from King’s.. =P Since we couldn’t finish both, we kept one for Yi-Pei’s family, and cut the one we bought.. XD Nice chocolate cake.. YeenNee, well done in choosing the cake.. ^-^V

After chatted for awhile, Yi-Pei then opened the presents we gave her and took pictures with them.. Me, YeenNee, Siew and XinYing gave her a bag from Momoe.. (I myself kinda like that bag ler.. XD) Other presents were belt (from YChen), mug (from SukTeng), chocolate (from EeLynn) and bedsheet (from Yi-Pei’s cousins) =) Soon after she opened all the presents, her parents came to pick her up..

But ’cause I really wanted to eat chicken wings so much, I managed to drag YChen along to makan with me.. Then there came XinYing, SukTeng, YeenNee (just to past time while waiting for her brother to come and fetch her) and Yi-Pei.. =P We ordered 6 sets, but Xinying didn’t eat and YeenNee went back right after that.. So I sapu 3 sets overall… XD Then we got to talk on many things, really glad that I did drag them for second round.. At least smaller group, easy to chat with each other.. (Too bad Siew have to rush for second round in Hartamas as it was her collmate’s birthday too, anyway, she’s always that busy.. =P) Really had a nice evening, I enjoyed it every much, hope everyone did too.. And most important, hope Yi-Pei enjoyed her 21st Birthday’s celebration with us, hope can leave a sweet memory for her..

Lastly, Happy 21st Birthday to our dearest friend, Yi-Pei.. May all your wishes come true.. =) Friends forever.. (Although her birthday had past and maybe she will not be viewing my blog also… =P)

My sister purposely took leave today to eat lunch with our family to celebrate my dad’s birthday which falls on tomorrow.. Early in the morning, we went somewhere near Jalan Ampang for breakfast.. Today’s weather very good ne~ Cloudy cloudy… =P After dad finished on his work around 1pm, we went to Starhill for lunch.. It has been more than a year since I entered Starhill, and the first time I went since its renovation.. =)

There are many restaurant at its Lower Ground floor, and my sister chose to eat in a Teo Chew Cuisine restaurant called Pak Loh.. (You know la, old folks like chinese food.. =P) At first dad’s mood wasn’t that good because he knows the food there is sure super expensive.. But since already decided to eat there, should eat happily ma.. Luckily ended up he ate quite alot also and was quite satisfied.. We ordered Fried Oyster, Pork Rib, Claypot beancurd with seafood, Broccoli with scallop, Braised duck and pork and also Oyster porridge (The waitress kept on promoting their expensive food =.=").. Lala, the dishes not too special but taste not bad, especially the pork rib.. =) This meal costs my sister around RM200++ ler, not too expensive for 5 people la~ =P At least we enjoyed that la~ XD

Oh ya, have you entered toilet in Starhill before? The place for washing hand is very unique and funny ler, you try you’ll know (if you never been there before la, outdated as me.. >.<") Then we went to BTS for a walk and had a drink in Uncle Lim, my dad’s favourite place.. =P Mom managed to buy a pair of Hush Puppies’ loafers for bro and I managed to makan Gelatomio’s ice cream once again, just ate it yesterday anyway… =.="

About present, my bro gave him a pair of Yonex’s badminton shoes, I gave him a simple polo-T, and my sis and mom bought him a Casio watch.. Wah, he got many presents this year leh… XD Thought of buying him birthday cake tomorrow.. =D Played GT in PS2 with dad just now.. Haha, he kept on playing until don’t want to stop.. =.=" Did your dad play PS2 with you all? >.<"

Ok, let me continue my previous blog on the movie I watched in BTS today, the Number 23.. There were many nice movies showing last few weeks during my assignment submission period.. >.< Now when I’m free a little bit, those movies already stopped showing, and left those not so nice movies.. T.T Moreover, my work finished on 5pm today, so by the time I reached BTS was already 5:30pm, the show left that I can watch is only the Number 23.. Saw its trailer last few days and thought it’s some kind of thriller.. =)

This movie runs for 1 and a half hours, starred by Jim Carrey (thought he will only act in comedies =P).. It is about Walter Sparrow (Jim Carrey) found out that the storyline of a book he read, "Number 23", is very similar to his own life as if he is the character in that book.. It told about everything in the guy’s life is related to the magic number of 23 (which is not a very lucky number, they said), no matter birthday, time, car registration number’s plat and etc… He became very obssessed in that book and soon became psycho over the story of this book.. He began to act according to the plot.. Then, he, his wife and his son went to search for this novel’s author in order to solve the problem and only to find out the truth is actually………………. Ngohoho… Watch la, very nice one… =P

I found that this movie is quite interesting, have to think a lot in order to understand what is happening actually.. It is very different from other movies I’ve seen, and it is actually not horror movie as I thought.. Instead, it’s kinda of mystery show when they are trying to find out what is happening actually.. In my opinion, I think you should not miss it la, better than watching Mr. Bean’s Holiday la.. =P Remember to watch oo~ XD

Today is Saturday at last~~ But I had to work.. T.T This morning me and my sister went to The Mall slightly earlier to have our breakfast before I start work.. =) At first we decided to makan at Aunty Pat in food court, but too bad they didn’t open today.. So we went to the The Modern Kopitiam on the 4th floor.. This is the first time I ate there.. XD Nice environment and it wasn’t crowded (Maybe it was still early when we went ^.^).. I had Fried Mee Hoon with Fried Egg, quite big portion for me but taste not bad.. My sister pulak had Nasi Lemak, came with Rendang Ayam one oo, I tried one bite, was great too.. So next time maybe you can try there.. =)

So today is the first day I worked since Starbucks launched our summer promotion.. Means that today was the first day I wore our new blue blue uniform.. Errmm, actually look not bad with green apron la, so we took photos together.. XD Oh ya, today is the World’s Earth Day which we are encouraging everyone to recycle.. So there are some event in Starbucks Maju Junction which everyone can redeem a mini plant by exchanging with every one-foot tall of old newspaper… ^-^ Please support oo~ =)

After work, I rushed to BTS to meet up with my sister for movie (Watched Number 23, will write in on the next blog entry =D).. We had light dinner at Uncle Lim and had a short walk.. There’s some promotion booths on wedding pictures photography thingy.. So we went there to ask for packages on personal studio photos.. Yea, we did choose the best bargain and paid the deposit.. XD Ngohoho, this will be the first studio photo session ever.. But paid only, don’t when have time to go for the session.. After that, we were late for movie.. =P

It’s Wednesday again~! Movie day~ movie day~! XD Right after class I went to MV to meet… Yes~ It’s Joyce again… Muahaha.. She’s the only free person to bother me, this super free HELPless student… XD So today we got to watch Hannibal Rising.. =)

It is a 2-hour movie starring Gaspard Ulliel, Gong Li and don’t know who and who and who… Muahaha… It’s about Hannibal, a young boy then, witnessed the war criminals killed and ate his sister during world war time.. So when he grew up 8 years later, he was still hunt by dreams of the scene where her sister was being eaten alive, everynight. He escaped from the orphanage home and went to find his aunt, who was a Japanese lady.. So this Lady Murasaki (Gong Li) taught him how to be brave and to have courage.. Lala~ So this fella, I think he gone abit siao siao already, went to find back all these fellas who killed his sister, and kill them brutally, chop of their heads and cannibalise them… XD

Wah, I watch till half I feel very pening already.. The guy went too far jadi sot sot jorr~ ~.~" See the way he kills those war criminals, nightmare man… But the story line not bad la, I think should watch also la this movie.. Just that I don’t really like to see cruel movies nowadays.. Later I become psycho, first thing go find some stupiak lecturers to stab.. XD Then hor, I drank too much water, kept on going to toilet.. Luckily I sat most outside seat and near the entrance.. =.="

Ok, let’s talk about what we ate this afternoon.. =D’ As soon as we reached, we went to the food court to eat Popiah~ Long time didn’t eat, miss it very much.. Then right after that we went to Gelato Fruity for ice cream~ XD As usual I picked peanut flavour (My favourite desu ne~) After movie, we went for shopping for a while.. Didn’t manage to buy anything.. And we headed towards Pizza Hut for makan again.. This time geng wei.. We ordered the Formaggi Cheese Delight Combo + Baked-Cheese meatballs + Masala Spin Roll.. +.+" Really ate until can’t move la~ As usual, regretted after eat.. XD I took photo as proves de oo in case some of you don’t believe what we ate… =P

Then we went back to The Mall for awhile as Joyce said she saw a nice and cheap skirt there the other day.. So we went there to buy it.. By the time I reached home was almost 8pm~ Lala.. Tiring shopping and movie day.. XD

Finally I went to Chinatown again.. It has been few months since I went there.. Remember the last time I was there was before CNY I guess.. >.<" Since I don’t have any classes today, I decided to go and stock up my comics as YChen told me that Kindaichi is releasing their new books.. ^.^ Coincidently, Joyce has evening class today and she went to college at noon to study.. Since her college is somewhere near Petaling Street, I called her for lunch when I reached.. At first I thought of eating in Old Town in Petaling Street, near old Popular book store there.. But it was closed down.. Guess I really too long didn’t update myself on the conditions there.. =.="

At first we decided to eat in Xi Men Ting in S&M after that.. But I still feel like eating Nasi Rendang in Old Town so much.. So we walked to Central Market, there’s another Old Town there.. Haha.. Sorry to Joyce as she had to walk from her college (infront of CM) to Petaling Street, then walk back to CM again.. =P This is the firsttime I went there.. The environment and atmosphere wasn’t bad, and it wasn’t crowded as it was already past lunch time.. But the service there was very bad.. A malay uncle took our orders and never repeat them..

Then, instead of Nasi Rendang Chicken, he ticked on Ipoh Hor Fun… Was damn pissed back then cause I wanted to eat the Rendang so much.. >.< Then, this fella went and called his supervisor to see us.. And he questioned us on the order and whether the malau uncle repeated our orders.. We definitely said "NO!" and I still heard the malay uncle answered "YES".. +.= Then they changed our order la, but the Ipoh Hor Fun still come for the second time.. Was super pissed, so I called one of their staff and keep (#(&$*#(%^)@(@)$!! her… Ngohoho, sorry lor, you all messed with the wrong customer… =P

Ok, at last my meal came and I finished the rice + double kaya toast.. XD Satisfied.. But regretted later cause was too full, can’t even walk.. =P Then we went to UO Supermarket, was actually accompanying Joyce to see some clothes as the clothes there are cheap and have the size of L and XL.. Anyone who cant find cheap and large clothes out there, you may want to search them there.. ^-^ Then we ended up didn’t buy anything.. And we walked to the comic shop at last.. I bought overall 7 comic books.. And one of them actually I already bought previously, too long didn’t buy, forgot which one I haven’t bought before.. T.T wasted my money.. Anyway, I found new Kindaichi comic, but it only released until the first book.. Can’t wait to read it.. XD

After that we walked awhile in S&M before I headed home and Joyce back to college for class.. =) Oh ya, our schoolmate, Gomathy called this afternoon that she’s inviting us to her birthday party and she delivered the invitation card until our homes.. Wow, must be a big party ne~ But too bad, she dropped the card into the wrong unit’s postbox, so I have no fate in seeing the card… T.T And very unfortunately, no one is staying in that unit, cant ask them to open the mailbox for me… >.<" (Pai seh, today abit long winded… ^_^")

Yo, what’s up everyone? At last I managed to submit all my assignments on time.. Just that now is the time to start on the second assignments.. Hope I’m given a break.. =.=" Very boring doing assignments everyday… >.<

Yesterday I went for work after sneaking from it for a week, with the reason of going for Qing Ming on last weekend… It wasn’t crowded yesterday, should say no customer at all.. Hmm, not at all la… There was one customer every 15 minutes like that la.. ~.~" I was given two t-shirts to be wore during Summer promotion that will be started from onwards.. The t-shirts are in light blue color with the word "Escape into Summer" at the back.. Here everyday also summer one la.. =.=" But I got M size for both of them.. So super big size la for me… >.<

Then we are lauching new food and drinks too for this so-called Summer.. I managed to try the new food, lucky! The new sandwiches are "Pesto Chicken with Foccacia Bread" and "Mango Chutney Chicken with Ciabatta Bread".. And yes! It’s chutney~ The dressing we usually eat with Tosae.. Haha.. But I like that sandwich though.. Sweet sour sauce of mango chutney + roasted chicken.. Yummy yummy~ =P’ But the taste of Pesto chicken is a bit odd, cause the pesto sauce contains olive oil, garlic and some odd stuffs la.. =P Some of my collegues like that though… =\ Both sandwiches are nice to be paired with Ice Shaken Tazo Lemon Zen Tea..

And the new drink we will be launching is the Banana Java Chip Frappuccino.. Actually the banana thingy isn’t a new thing.. It was launched last year during so-called "Summer" season too.. But banana + java chip is a new combination la~ Haven had chance to try that.. >.< The banana beverages of ours weren’t bad last year.. Haha, seems like I’m promoting Starbucks’ items in the whole blog.. Yes, that’s why I put the title as that.. =P Remember to visit us during this "Summer" oo~ Enjoy your "Summer" ne~~ XD

Yohoo~ How’s everyone’s Friday going on? Mine is just fine and boring.. Today supposingly I had classes at 10:30am to 12pm and 2:30pm to 5:30pm.. I called Joyce at 12pm asked whether she wants to go shopping not (She was on her way to college actually =P).. She agreed on my idea and turn back to change clothes and we met at BTS around 1pm.. And yes! I skipped Client-Server class (Sorry, Miss Ng, I skipped your class again.. >.<)… XD

After makan at Uncle Lim, we went and search for Trisha’s birthday present… Then walk walk walk walk.. We started to look for clothes for ourselves pulak.. =P Ended up we bought clothes for our owns but not for the coming birthday girl… >.< Muahaha, then we ended up ate ice cream, desserts and noodles also.. Full~ XD It happened that Joyce was wearing a pairs of high heels she just bought yesterday… And maybe she still wasn’t used to wearing it, she just went and bought another pair of sandals, so that we could continue walking happily.. =P

A short while after we back from BTS, me and my family went to a cafe in Kepong called Happy Memory for dinner.. It’s just located behind Carrefour Kepong, nice atmosphere and not many people as Old Town Kopitiam… Moreover, their staff are very friendly and provide good services, that’s the most important thing I’m always looking at when visiting F&B outlets… So I ate Prawn and Abalone slices Yee Mee and drank Iced Chocolate.. And Chicken Wings after that.. XD Hmmm.. The Yee Mee not too special, but I like their Ice Chocolated.. This was the second time I drank it.. =) Wow, we went back with extremely big big stomachs… =P

Yea, I just got a Baby-G watch a moment ago.. My mom bought it for me, from my agent cousin.. XD Thanks alot.. I like it very much.. Oh, this is the first time I got a Baby-G anyway.. Used to collect and wear G-Shocks when I was in secondary school.. It has been quite long since I wear these kinds of watch, so I have some difficulties in adjusting the time and stuffs.. >.< Old already.. T.T But really a nice one.. square shape with light pink color (Very light)… XD

Aiyoyo~~~ Can’t count how long has past since the last time I blog here.. Sorry to my blog fans ya~ XD Was too busy with all the *tooot* assignments and didn’t even have time to go out kai kai… >.< At last today went for Sushi King promo despite meeting Java’s due date on this friday.. =P You all know ler, have to come out to breath fresh air in between hard works (Although I can smell smoke and dirty air =.=")… *Giving excuses to lazy around desu ne.. XD* This promotion is only limited for Sushi King membership cardholder which can enjoy RM2 per plate for all the rice-based sushi desu ne… =D’

Supposed to go with few other college mates for sushi today, but they ffk us which is in my expectation already one.. Lala, so I went with Ling Ling and Ryan… XD We arrived at Sushi King in Mid Valley around 11am, that time werent many customers there.. Sat at a quite nice place.. Then we ate and ate and ate and ate.. And we gossip gossip and gossip and gossip.. XD We left the place around 1:30pm (Guess we were the customers who sat there the longest.. XD) Ended up I ate 12 plates (Which freaked them out +.+), 6 plates for Ling Ling and Ryan had 8 plates.. (Too bad I can’t manage to take pic of the plates that we took.. Cause they took them away before we finished.. Not enough plates to use I guess..)

Wah lao, I guess I really ate too much, until now I still can feel the fishy fishy swimming inside my stomach… >.< But nevermind ler, once a while.. =P Somemore, that are my breakfast + lunch + dinner for today.. XD Then me and Ling Ling dragged Ryan along to watch movie (I was the only one who dragged him actually.. =P) We watched TMNT, the must watch movie, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, my once heroes.. XD

This TMNT runs for 1 hour and 30 minutes, was voice-casted by Sarah Michelle Gellar, Patrict Stewart and Zhang Ziyi.. (didn’t notice got zhang ziyi’s voice inside.. But now I know who she voice-casted, there’s a girl who talks strangely in the movie.. =P) This movie is about my four heroes XD Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo and Donatello were grouped up once again to defeat Winters. Winters was some fella who lived 3000 years ago and woke some power up to defeat the enemies. This spell had made him immortal, turned his generals into stones and freed 13 monsters from other dimension to this world. So after 3000 years, he gathered all the 13 monsters which the help of the stoned-generals and some ninja fella, so that he could break the spell.. But too bad, he was betrayed by the generals as they want this power to destroy the world.. So my ninja tutus (Haha, rearly mention abit them tim.. XD) came and stopped them from destroying the world and found the last monster so that they can break the spell, with the help of April… ^.^

Ermm, Leonardo looks very cool inside the movie (Although all looks the same without the eyefolds.. =P But Raphael is still my favourite.. The way he manage he weapon- "Sai", hasn’t changed and really very yeng.. XD Sorry that I’m so crazy about the turtles… =P Master Splinter also damn cute… Very funny, don’t know why.. Overall, I think this movie is not bad, quite funny, with some actions and also my tutus… =P

After movie we went to makan ice cream in Haagen Daz.. It is my first time being in Haagen Daz.. After makan only know one scoop of ice cream costed me RM9.. >.< Somemore so small scoop..
