YuMi’s pLaCe~

Actually I’m not too into Marvel Comics and superhero movies… Can say that I didn’t watch previous superhero movies shown in Cinema, be it Spiderman or Superman… Hahaha, I’m a realistic people~~ =P But seems that many people like to watch this Ghost Rider, because although it has been few weeks since the movie released, the tickets are still fully book for most of the showtimes.. Even my sister wants to watch in LeisureMall also can’t get a ticket.. -.-" But I received a comment from YChen, who watched it last week.. The comment was "Just another cartoon"~ XD Ghost Rider’s fans~ Don’t punch me! Find YChen… Muahaha…

This movie is depicted from the Marvel Comic and runs for about 2 hours~ I keep yawning in the cinema, ’cause I can’t catch what they were telling about the legend.. Too many strange names already.. =P Haha, but actually it is not bad.. It is about a motorcycle stuntman, Johnny Blaze, signed an agreement with a Devil, Mephistopheles(Very obvious I copied and pasted this name XD), to give his soul to the devil in order to cure his father’s illness.. Years later, when Mephistopheles’s (I copy and paste again.. =P) so-called son, Blackheart, came to earth with 3 other fallen angels to find the don’t know what agreement that holds the sold souls~ So Johnny, who once signed the agreement to be the Ghost Rider, was told by Mephistopheles to defeat Blackheart… Eh, realise I didn’t mention about Eva Mendes at all? Because she didn’t appear much in the movie.. Hahaa.. She was the girl whom Johnny loves but left him.. She appears years later and~ blah blah blah blah.. Normal story’s plot… >.<

The story is not bad.. But as YChen said.. Really like watching animation.. =P But I think those kids will get nightmare after watching it~ Muahaha.. I don’t like skeleton.. And the other devils look…. normal only.. Hahaha… Ghost Rider’s fans, of course you shouldn’t miss it.. But I guess there will be a second episode of this movie.. Because the movie doesn’t really end.. Lala.. Have to wait for next episode lor~ Pandai they make money… XD

I’ve missed Twins Mission yesterday.. But luckily I got to watch it today… XD Today I went to YChen’s house to pai nin~ A promise that is at last fulfilled after one year… Yeah~ firsttime went to her house.. Her house is very BIG ne~~~~~ Big garage with 3 fierce dogs… >.< I think her room is bigger than my house’s living room.. T.T YChen, let me overnight at your house ma…. =P Her room is full with toys, doll and sailormoon!!!! XD Find one day purposely go there and steal first… =P

Then we went to The Mines to watch movie and have lunch… Yea~ Got tickets for Twins Mission at last, although seats not that perfect.. =P Not too many people in The Mines… =) Had a quick lunch in Dave Deli’s after that… Food quality dropped… Ceh~~~ >.<

Let’s get back to the movie.. Twins Mission is an action comedy that is starred by Sammo Hung, Twins, Wu Jing, Yuen Wah and many pairs of real twins… =P Got some special appearance of some artists too.. XD It is about a bead (don’t know what is that) that can cure someone’s illness and save people’s life were lost in the middle of a fight between the Gemini clan and the guardian of the bead… Both wanted to get the bead… Lala~~~ The the guardian, Sammo Hung went and find back the twins that were brought out from the Gemini clan years ago to fight the clan.. Then they fight fight fight and fight fight fight XD To see who found the bead and get it first… Many twins appeared~ Some are real, some are fake~~ Even Pak Leong Kam also appeared… =.="

Very nice action movie.. The actions and stunts were nicely designed~ Just that they used too many stuntmen~ Sometimes Sammo Hung suddenly looks thin when he flew out.. =P But overall is a nice movie, too bad can’t bring my dad to watch it.. He will love it alot… >.<

It has been quite long since I last watched movie.. I guess about one month ago.. Finally yesterday I watched a CNY movie… ^.^ At first my sister promised to watch with me, ended up we brought our dad along as he’s still staying at home this week.. Since my dad came along, we decided to watch Twins Mission as he likes action movie alot, somemore Summo Hung starred that movie.. But too bad I can’t manage to make ticket reservation~ T.T So we went to Mid Valley and queue for tickets… @.@ The queue was until McDonald’s there.. =.=" By the time we reached the counter, the seats left for Twins Mission were only the front seats… So we didn’t choose it, scared later dad pengsan… =P No choice, we bought tickets for The Lady Iron Chef… >.< Watch it very reluctantly.. My dad seemed disappointed too… T.T Sorry dad!!!

This movie is starred by my favourite actress, Charmaine Sheh, Hacken Lee and Yuan Qiu (Bao jou poh =P)… Luckily I can still see Charmaine Sheh in the movie, or else it will be very boring to watch that show… It’s a comedy (but I think it’s quite stupid also… =.=") about Ceci (Charmaine) who is a model, has fallen in love with S.K (Hacken), the son of a rich lady who is an expert in food tasting… As Ceci doesn’t know how to cook at all (just like me… XD), S.K.’s mom doesn’t like her at all.. Instead, his mom wants him to go out with the daughter of a  famous chef in China, who knows to cook very well… To not to lose to this China girl, Ceci went and learned cooking with a lady who is one of the chefs who served the Emperor during those dynasty time… Ended up they had a competition and don’t know who won… =P

This movie is kind of boring.. The effects they did on the food were very fake.. Somemore the food they showed are just ordinary food… Breads, instant noodles.. Yau mou gao chor… Some parts were funny, but not all… But nevermind la, watch this kind of CNY movie once awhile, can past time faster =P But Charmaine Sheh in this movie is quite pretty, although she’s over thin I think.. But her big eyes really can make me cry… Haha.. The China lady, don’t know what’s her name, isn’t bad too~ Tall and oriental face.. Gua suka also…. XD Hahaha.. Ermmm, if you haven’t watch it, it’s on you to decide whether you still want to watch it or not ler… =P

Today is the 4th day of CNY~ How is everyone?? Healthy? =P Today me and my ex-schoolmates went for pai nin in each other’s house.. =) At first XinYing, HiuMun and LaoSoo promised to go along, but they suddenly had something to do.. T.T So only left me, YChen, Siew, KitYee, Beryl and Summer… =) So first stop was KitYee’s house.. YChen came and fetched me at 11am, then fetched Summer along and went to KitYee’s house… Not long after that, Beryl arrived by taxi and Siew reached after Beryl.. We were fortunate enough that there was lion dance around, so KitYee’s mom invited them to dance for the prayers in their house.. Yeah, got to see lion dance this year.. Somemore so near distance… But actually I scared of those lions in lion dance very much de… T.T Almost scream when they came near me… >.<

Although XinYing didn’t join us, but we managed to visit her house for ang pao before she left her house… XD Sat there for almost an hour, chit chatting about secondary school’s days.. Miss them very much… Had alot of fun talking about it.. ^.^ Then we went to Summer’s house.. Hehehe… I like to go to her house, very comfortable… =D We sat awhile, ate alot of snacks.. =P and took some photos there… ^-^

Then jau came to my house… too bad my mom wasn’t home.. =P Dad gave them nice ang pao packets from Terimee.. Got Charmaine Sheh’s face oo~~~ =P

After that we went to Beryl’s new house around Gombak~~ Wah~~ 3 floors’ house leh~~ Very spacious and comfortable~ Nice sofa, tv set and mini bar… Nexttime we can do party there.. Hahaha~ Didn’t really get alot of ang pao today, but quite happy as can pai nin with my schoolmates again… XD Too bad Junnie, YiPei and MeiYee couldn’t join us~ Hope can come out yumcha one whole gang one day… =)

yeah~~ that’s right.. Today is my birthday according to the Lunar Calendar… I was born on the 3rd day of Chinese New Year.. And Chinese always count their age in Lunar Calendar as one year older than our actual ages.. So today I’m 22 years old.. Oh my God~~!! Don’t scared me… T.T I don’t want to be old so fast… +.+

It is my family’s tradition to celebrate this day for me.. =) So me and my sister decided to have Hi-tea in Grand Season together with my aunt’s family too~ Fortunately my aunt is working there and have a voucher for 50% discount… XD So all together 9 people went for makan including 2 of my dad’s friends.. ^.^

Wahhh… The food for Hi-Tea there was great!!! Alot of choices.. XD Me and my sis eyed for the patries first.. We took two full plates of cakes for first round~~~ Yeah~~ Blueberry cake, cheese cake, chocolate cake, fruits tart, cookies~~ First round already that much… >.< My brother kept on eating fruits.. =.=" Too health conscious already… Second round I took some heavier food.. Mee, fried squids, mutton, vege, fried scallop~ Wahhh~~ XD But most of them very hard, cold already I guess.. =( There were many food available besides that… DimSum, kuih-muih, curry mee, Tang Yuen, tong sui… Got ice-cream, ABC and cendol too.. XD Today the one that ate the most was my mom… Keep on eating.. I think she ate 3 days portion of breakfast, lunch, dinner and supper… =P We ate from 1pm till 5pm… ^.^

9 people’s buffet Hi-Tea was only for RM190++ Wow, that’s cheap.. So many varieties of food.. After we ate bao bao, I followed my family to aunt’s house to continue gamble… -.- Of course, as usual i didn’t gamble.. I sat there until 7:30pm watch tv.. Hoho.. Then I fetch mom back as my dad still not finish gamble yet.. Yeah.. And I scratched dad’s car again when I wanted to park the car… >.<" Shhhh…………. My dad still haven’t realised about that.. =P

That’s all for my Lunar birthday today.. Nothing special actually.. Just got to eat quite alot… XD

Let me explain on my blog’s title for this time… Today was the day that we would have our dinner with my sister’s boyfriend’s (Jay) family… The Loke(s).. Ngohohoho~ This is the first time we meet our future in laws~ =P My mom was very nervous before this.. Don’t know what kind of people they will be… =P But this turned out to be a nice meeting… Had a great evening… =)

This morning we went to breakfast with Jay in Jalan Ipoh.. Makan dim sum… Fortunately there was a dimsum shop in Batu 3 that opened today.. It was quite crowded, and we ate alot… It came out that they charged double for the food today… A box of normal chicken rice costs RM5.70… =.=" Overall we ate about RM77… Chi sin… Dim sum tepi jalan for RM77… Next time please go to mamak during CNY… Thought so nice got dimsum makan on CNY tim.. >.<

My sis booked the table few weeks before this at Hau Kee in Yulek (Hey, Cody, it’s Hau Kee again… >.<) for tonight’s dinner.. The restaurant I went with collegemates last few weeks for CNY gathering… Our booking was at 7:30pm, but earlier today my sister told me was 6pm.. So we prepared so early.. =.=" So we went to the Old Town Coffee beside Payathin for a drink before proceeded to Hau Kee.. We arrived at Hau Kee about 7:20pm and the Lokes were arrived… But the restaurant was FULLLLL with people.. >.< We couldn’t get our table until 7:30pm as we had to wait for the previous customers to makan habis… T.T Laparnyer~~~

At first the ambient was a little bit awkward between us as we just got to know each other… Luckily, auntie and uncle were very friendly and funny, so the ah sam and ah pek got along very fast.. And Jay’s sister was very talkative, so we enjoyed the session also.. But Jay’s brother was a little bit quite though.. =P We lou sang first before eating the main courses… Yea, lou sang in Hau Kee again… =P Then we had another 7 more dishes.. Fish, salty egg squids, some vegetables, and don’t know what what and what.. =P I ate one bite of each, still I feel so full XD

Since Jay’s house is just behind the restaurant, we went to their house for a while before heading home… Their house is very comfortable and spacious.. After sitting a while, chit chatting, eating agar agar made by Jay’s mom, we left for home… =) Overall we had a nice evening and Jay’s family is very kind and friendly… XD Sister should be happy to stay with them in the future.. Wahaha~ =P

Gong Xi Fa Cai everyone!!!! Got yourselves alot of ang pao??? Hehehe, mine were not bad~~ This year I got alot with RM5 and RM10… XD How was your pai nin gone? Mine was quite hectic.. >.< This is the first year which we went to so many houses on the first day itself.. My dad said done everything in one day, can rest at home on the second day… Quite true also… =P

We took off around 10 something in the morning to my grandpa side’s house in Seputeh… Maybe it was too early, we were the first family who arrived… =P Left grandpa’s wife alone at the house cooking lunch… After we arrived, she kept calling my uncles and aunties to come over… But all were still sleeping, guess they gambled until late night the previous day.. =P So we had our lunch first~~~ XD Then when we about to leave, there was when everyone started to arrive… =.=" It was already 1++pm… Then we continued our journey to don’t know which Grandaunt’s house in Cheras pulak~ Never met her before… We arrived with my cousins along… Haha, that Grandaunt asked whether I’m an artist.. (I take that as a compliment ne… XD Thank you thank you..)

After sat for a while, we went to the 3rd pai nin destination in another grandaunt’s house in Kepong~ Wah~~~ We travelled the whole KL yesterday… =P As usual, the house in Kepong was very merrier.. Everyone was playing mahjong.. There were 4 groups I guess.. The kids, the teenagers, the aunties and the uncles… Heard alot of vulgar words came from the uncles’ group.. =.=" CNY speak so vulgarly.. >.< We were asked to eat once again…. CNY memang cannot escape from eating.. T.T

Then after that we back to aunt’s house in Sentul… My mom was so excited to play mahjong with my dad and cousins.. While me and my sister sat there whole afternoon to watch tv and eat eat eat eat… Wah, very tired ne although we were just sit at people’s house for the whole day… Hahaa… Then me and sister went back home first about 7pm and my parents continued playing mahjong until 10pm.. =.=" Scary…. Hmmmm… I plan not to do any gamble this year as usual… XD Keep my ang pao duit, so it will grow double slowly… =P

It has been raining since this morning… The rain was so heavy that I was wet even though I carried an umbrella.. >.< Chinese shops were mostly closed since today, so we have no where to go for breakfast.. Terpaksa went to mamak store eat telur separuh masak and roti bakar… T.T Luckily the rain stopped around late afternoon~ Yeah~ Or else flood will happen somewhere there again… -.-"

Our family had reunion dinner together with my aunt’s family… We went early to their house, about 6pm~ They were having mahjong and karaoke session… Now I realised, my second cousin really can sing very well… Got professional standard desu ne… XD Muka also handsome… =P Then we had our 8 course dinner… Wahhh~~~ got shark fin soup also~ =P’ I didn’t really eat that much la.. But I sapu alot of snacks after dinner =.=" Someone please stop me… T.T

We watched the fireworks played at the Eye on Malaysia through my aunt’s house there… 23rd floor leh~ Veri clear and nice fireworks~ So nice, can see fireworks everynight from there.. We sat for awhile, watched tv and then went back at around 11 something… Very tired ler, tomorrow still have to wake up early to visit relatives… =.=" Yea~ Got big ang pao from parents~ Thank you very much!!! XD Anyway, I wish everyone has a big fat new year… =P Gong Xi Fa Cai~~ =)

Heyo~~ Time past really fast~ So fast it is already our Chinese New Year… Still remember last year’s CNY was…….. boring…. >.< Still remember I got an exam after CNY, so sambil gamble, I had to sambil do revision until late night… Luckily I’ve finished my exam previously… So this year can enjoy a bit more… XD So those of you who are free and feel like watching CNY movie, do feel free to call me ok? Ngohohoho~~

For this CNY, I’ve bought lots and lots of clothes.. =P I’ve never buy so many clothes for CNY before… I guess I bought whole year’s supply of clothes… Last week I went to Mid Valley and One Utama for shopping with my sister… Went to Sg. Wang and BTS with Joyce, and today went to Chinatown and BTS with YChen after my work… =P Complete set.. Top, pants, skirts, scarves, dress, boots… Hahaha… (Mom, please forgive your crazy daughter… I’ll work harder to earn back the money… >.<) Nevermind la, at least for the coming few months, I don’t need to go for shopping.. XD

After CNY, next week will be my beginning of semester.. So fast time past ne~~~~ T.T Really have to gambate already.. Don’t know which lecturers will be teaching me… Pray it’s not that two la~ =P My coursemates should know who am I talking about.. =P Anyway, just wish everyone has a nice and happy CNY~ Gamble alot and win alot oh…. Don’t eat until bui bui like Alina oo~ XD

Today is 11th Feb 2007, which is my 21st birthday.. T.T Think of it, I feel very scared… As if many unseen challenges are waiting for me in the future… Gotta be serious and no pray pray… =P Anyway, I would like to say "Thank you very much" to my friends who wished me birthday, via SMS, friendster testimonials or MSN messages.. I really appreciate them… Never thought I’ll receive so much wishes from you all… Very touched… T.T

I’ve booked a unit of serviced apartment in KL Plaza Suite to celebrate my birthday with my beloved ex- Convent schoolmates.. I’ve planned for a small steamboat party since one month ago.. =P I’ve been waking up early for the past few days to go to the morning market to buy food needed.. XD But everything is worth it as I really enjoy myself yesterday evening.. Too bad that Kit Yee, Lao Soo, Suk Teng and Trisha couldn’t join us, or else it would be alot more fun.. >.<

I arrived at the condominium around 1pm to check-in.. The actual check-in time is supposed to be 3pm, but luckily they allowed me to check-in earlier… Thanks~ ^.^ Wow, the unit was very spacious~ It contains 3 bedrooms and a kitchen for just RM370~ I think that unit can cater for about 20 people.. Wahahaha~ So syok~ Can do dancing there~ Too bad Suk Teng was not there.. =P Immediately after me and my sister arrived, we prepared the food and put in the refrigerator… As in washing all the raw fishy balls la~ XD Then about 2pm, Joyce came~ Thanks for coming so early… She helped me to wash and cut the vegetables~ After resting awhile, we went to the 7-11 downstairs to buy drinks~ Then we changed nice nice and went for a walk in Sg Wang… =) We couldn’t even walk as it was soooo crowded there.. Ended up we had a drink in Old Town while waiting for YChen’s arrival as Joyce was hungry…

After fetching YChen from KL Plaza, we went to Secret Recipe in Lot 10 to choose my birthday cake~ XD Not many choices, and I chose Chocolate Banana~ Planned dark brown color punye 21st birthday cake.. =.=" Anyway, thank you so much, Ychen~ After that we met with Hiu Mun and went back to the condo~ At first she didn’t want to stay overnight, but after much persuasion from us, she decided to stay~ XD Hiu Mun and Xin Ying brought cameras.. So they started taking photos everywhere~ Me and Ychen pulak started to prepare the soup base for steamboat…

Not long after that, Mei Yee and Beryl arrived~ Lala~ And then were Junnie and Nicholas~ Quite suprise to see Nic, as I didn’t thought he’ll come.. But really happy to see him… Thanks for coming oo~ ^,^ As soon as they arrived, we started the steamboat session first without waiting for Siew as she was slightly late~ After first round of makan only she arrived~ Luckily there were still alot of food left~ Haha~ >.< But Mei Yee and Ychen ate 3 bijik of the nice cheese balls~ I only got to eat one… T.T Wow, we didn’t waste the food except the prawns~ We sapu all the food~ Everyone was sooo full then~ =) Happy~~

Not long after that was cake cutting and present giving session~ XD Very full oo~ Let me list down the presents I got… First, I got a necklace from Beryl, Mei Yee and Yi-Pei… Thanks, I like the butterfly pendant~ XD Then I got a small bag from Nic and Junnie~ Yea, it’s pink color, very nice…. ^.^ Thanks~ Then, I got a very oriental style bracelet by Vincci from HiuMun and Joyce.. Really very unique… I like it too~ Then was present from YChen~ As usual, the packaging of her present is the nicest!!! The outlook of the box is thoroughly pink, with my bui bui picture on it~ >.< She did a nice card for me, together with a cute handphone strap and a pink color bracelet~ I like them all~~~ XD And the last present I got was from Siew~ I was very suprise with that present~ She bought me a white gold pendant from Poh Kong… It’s a heart shape pendant…. Thank you so much~~~ And sorry to have you to spend so much~ I’ll find a nice chain to match with it…. =)

Then it was time for Beryl and Mei Yee to go back as they have to take public transport~ After sending them and Junnie, Nic from the condo, we (Me, Siew, YChen, Joyce, HiuMun) went for night shopping~ Bintang Walk was as crowded as ever… We took some photos as we walked to Sg Wang.. Most of the shops were almost closed when we arrived (around 9:30pm) but there were still alot of people~ We managed to get ourselves some clothes (except Ychen) in Fortune…

Then we walked back to Condo and it was fashion show time.. Hahaha.. We tried the each others’ clothes that we bought… Then we chit chat for awhile and took turn to take bath~ After that HiuMun and Joyce went to 7-11 to buy two cans of Heineken~ Those were for the poker game.. We played Heart Attack, and those who lost each time will have to drink one sip of the beer.. (Sorry la, we don’t drink alcohol one la, except Siew) =P Ended up HiuMun drank almost the two cans and started got siao siao~ Then YChen went to sleep but we accompanied HiuMun for chit chat as she can’t sleep after drinking the two cans of beer… =P Siew went out for about an hour as her friend was having birthday supper nearby.. Hahaha~ So we slept at around 3am~ But I couldn’t sleep the whole night.. Not comfortable with the environment kutt~ T.T I only sleep for 1 hour overall….

HiuMun woke up the earliest and went back at around 7am… Then Ychen at 8am, and Siew at 8++am~ Left me and Joyce finished the unfinished Chocolate Banana~ We checked-out at 10am and I went breakfast in Old Town at Low Yat with my sister and dad… I had Nasi Rendang.. =P At first I thought to go somewhere else with them, but as I didn’t really sleep.. So I decided to go back and sleep~ But coudln’t really sleep too as my handphone keep on ringing… Thanks for the wishes once again… =P

I woke up around 3pm and we went for a drink in a shop nearby as the weather was really killing… =.=" Hahaha… Then I came back and rest for a little while… After that, we went to fetch mom from work and went to Happy City in Kepong for dinner~ Lala… Ate alot, till I cant finish the watermelon juice.. =P Then we came home and cut another cake… It’s the little "Fruits Basket" from Bread Story..  (Ychen, Furuba la~ =P) That’s the end for my birthday this year… such a long report… fuu~ Hehe.. XD

This year, I wish that I can do well in my studies~ =) Stay healthy and pretty~ And of course, hope for world peace.. V-.- Although nothing really special these two days, but I really enjoy it~ XD Thanks everyone~ Muacks~~~~
