YuMi’s pLaCe~

Hmmm.. Yeah, that’s right… Today is another boring day… Since morning, right after breakfast, I started on my C++ assignment again until late afternoon.. Really bothering me ler… =.=" Don’t know why I just can’t finish it, although I spent so many days doing it.. Why~~~ @.@ This really proved that Alina is not smart at all.. T.T Stop saying Alina is smart ler… Hurted my small small punye heart…. Sobz… T.T

Around 4pm, I took bath and prepare to go to the temple… Accompanying my mom to go for prayer… ^^ The temple called Bu Toh Si, is really huge.. Seldom see such a big temple in KL.. With a big Kuan Yin’s statue at the entrance… Alot of nice buddha and other Gods’ statues around.. Very spacious and the buildings are very nice… Took alot of pictures there… Ngehehehe… I don’t pray, so just went there to take pictures.. After that only I realised that taking pictures is prohibited there… =P Don’t care, already taken…

After that we went to grandma’s house to pick up them for makan.. We went to a seafood restaurant at Lintas.. Thought it would be some high class seafood restaurant with air con… Who knows is opened air punyer.. =.=" But not bad ler, the seafood dishes there… We 8 people ordered prawns, fish, crabs, few kinds of vegetables, don’t know whatever and also.. Hmmm… Shark fin… Should I call it crab meat soup better? Hahahha… Overall.. Ermmm.. Not bad ler… At least very full.. Hahaha… Got to take pictures with grandparents too… So happy to eat while chatting together… Feel so warm ne~~ Ya, Ah Wei, I’ve taken grandparents’ photo… Later send to you by email.. By the way, what’s your email address?? Hahaha…

There’s night market along Gaya Street.. The street that I’m staying now… Grandpa said this is a special fest to celebrate mooncake festival.. So it’s very noisy and crowded downstairs.. Hahaha, there’s a stage built for performances too… Saw some traditional dances and also lion dance.. Too bad, I missed it.. =( Many stalls selling mooncakes here… And also some don’t know what stuffs.. Nothing special actually… Just got to eat ice cream sold by an ah pek on mini van… Called.. Caprilla I guess, the brand of the ice cream… XD It’s actually nothing much compare to ice cream sold in McDonalds.. Ngehehe.. That’s all I guess in the market… Nothing much… Tomorrow morning will be better as every Sunday, there’s morning market along the street.. Just like in Petaling street… Starting from 6am I think.. They need not to sleep is it?? =.=" Scary… Have to wake up early in the morning tomorrow for the market… Hope they won’t kacao me sleep when they open the stalls… My room’s windows are facing the street… T.T I want to sleep…

Guess that much that happened today.. Have to continue with the stupid C++… Will blog later… ^^

It’s the forth day I’ve been in KK.. Started to feel really comfortable here… Even sharing the dining table with someone that I don’t know…. Feel like at home… XD Today woke up a bit later than last few days, despite the stupid noise from the construction area opposite the hostel… =.=" Everyone went out for breakfast without me.. T.T So only had toasted breads as breakfast… Why la treat me like that…. T.T

After that we started our journey to the feet of Mount Kinabalu… Hmmmm… It took us 2 hours to get up there.. Actually not really the feet la, just the taman near the feet of the mountain.. Called Taman Kinabalu… That 2-hour journey was actually 45 minutes for us to get from Gaya Street to Tamparuli (A place where my sister grew up)… The remaining was the journey went up the mountain until the taman… Almost vomit in the car if it takes me any longer… =.="" But it’s really worth it.. As up there is reallllllyyyyyyyyyyyyyy nice…. Very cold there, colder than in Genting Highland and the most important is that strong wind blows.. Feel so comfortable… It’s not crowded at all as nothing much there… Just to enjoy the cool environment.. Full of greens~~~ Something like Fraser Hill ler… Good for relaxing… (If don’t think on the long long journey~ =P)

Took quite lots pictures there but looked cacated as strong wind blow my fringe became cacat… Ngehehehe.. Don’t care laa~ We went to the Natural History Gallery for Kinabalu… Nothing much in there… Have to pay RM2 somemore.. Just showed some flora and fauna in KK.. Butterflies, bettles, rafflesia, lizards and etc… Hehehe.. That’s all I guess…

Then we went for lunch at a nearby cafe called Balsam cafe… The environment there is very cool~ Nice wooden shop with dining tables at the balcony.. Spacious environment and friendly waiteress.. Had a nice lunch there enjoying hotdog bun and teh tarik… With extremely cold breeze~~~ XD

Then we proceeded back to grandma’s house as usual… And once again, I almost vomitted.. Hahaha… Plus there was slightly traffic jam as it was after work period.. Straight away fainted and slept for a while the moment I entered grandma’s house… Scared grandma… =P Then as usual too, had big dinner… Today’s menu was crab, curry fish, whole steam chicken~~~ Wahhhh =P’ Going to be balloon soon~ =.="

Then came back hostel around 8pm++, supposed to do assignment.. But wasted 2 hours just to write blogs… Hahhaaha… Forgive my laziness pleas e… Just lazy lazy and lazy~~~~ XD

It has been N months since I last watched movie… =.="" Too busy to go kai kai.. Can’t really figure out what i’m actually busy of… Just busy… =P Fortunately we came to KK and got a chance for movie.. Hahaha… So went for Rob-B-Hood yesterday..

It is a comedy of 2 hours and 7 minutes… Starred by Jackie Chan (as Slipper), Louis Koo (as Octopus) and Michael Hui (as Landlord)… And you will find special castings by some famous HK singers and actors inside for a while.. Hmmm, who were there… Nicholas Tse, Daniel Wu, Terrence Wan, Theresa Dicaprio and etc etc… Too many to mention… Better watch it yourself.. =P

The three main casts are thieves who are expert in opening locks including safebox.. They accept jobs from everywhere and steal from everywhere… And one day, they got a job is to steal a baby… After the baby was stolen, Landlord was caught of speeding and imprisoned… Therefore, Octopus and Slipper looked after the baby in the meantime and learned how to be good parents… And when it’s time to give the baby back to the fella that assigned them the job……….. Something happened!!! What happened?? That you have to figure out yourself too… =P

But overall, this movie is really not bad.. Recommended to watch… It’s very funny as we could laugh from the beginning till the end… It’s action isn’t bad too.. And for most, it has its touching parts and bring some good values with it… It tells people that money isn’t really the most important thing that we have to pursue… Many things are far more important than it… Especially our families… Do you agree that?? If yes, please give me all your money… Ngehehee, I’ll treat you very good… XD Come come come, don’t be shy… =P

  Didn’t blog yesterday because came back very late… Straight away slept after that… Yesterday was quite a boring day, cause I stayed in hostel the whole afternoon to finish up my C++ assignment… Start doing it right after breakfast around 9am until 4pm… Left for grandma’s house… But yet, couldn’t finish it.. The assignment seems very easy to do but actually………… T.T Who the h*** in this world can help me….. =.="" Gonna commit suicide soon… It’s the only thing that bother me the whole trip… Affected my mood… Until I didn’t eat lunch yesterday… T.T so cham ne~~~~~ Don’t care la, after that went to grandma’s house as usual… Had big big dinner… She bake some kind of pancakes for us which she called them "Flying plate".. Hahaha Something like that la.. XD Direct translate from Chinese… =P

After that we went to GSC here to watch Rob-B-Hood… Just released yesterday.. Hahaha… N had a new experience there… It is a big independent building at the road side… And with big advertisement banner on showing now outside the cinema… And the posters are still hand drew… Hahaha, long time didn’t get to see this kind of banners in KL… The ticket counter is opened air and with ceiling fans… =.=" Even the food and beverages counter… The theatres are divided to deluxe and standard sitting… They are quite big, bigger than those in KL.. And the deluxe sittings are like sittings for viewing ochestra concert.. Wah sai~~~~ Not bad huh~~~ Before the regular advertisements and previews, they showed some local advertisements using static slide show… Hahaha… Can see people’s hand changing the transparency slides.. =.=" Anyway, it’s still a good experience for me… Like monkey just came out from jungle and went watch movie… =P

After the show, it was already 1pm++… We all tired like hell.. So we straight went back and be pig… XD

Now is 11 minutes past 12.. Most of the people here already asleep.. And I’m still not too used to sleep that early.. So decided to blog on the second day of my trip back in hometown…

Early 7am in the morning, the management of the hostel already off the air con in our room… T.T So I got up around 7:30am.. Not used to sleep without air con ler.. Yesterday almost cant sleep the whole night coz of the snoring sound from my sis’s bf from next room… So geng, his snoring sound can be heard through the wall… =.=" The hostel will serve us breakfast every morning, and the breakfast is few loaves of bread, toast them yourself, and margerine and jam is ready on the table for us to apply on the bread… Hahaha… That’s the breakfast.. But still ok ler… At least got something for me in the morning…. =P

After breakfast we went and had a walk in Wisma Merdeka and Center Point… Some sort of shopping complexes… Wisma Merdeka is alike Pertama Complex in KL.. Hehehe… CenterPoint is a higher class of Pertama.. Errmmmm… Sogo?? Ngohohoho…. =P Didn’t buy many things anyway, but we ate every 2 hours… Hahaha, going to be pig soon.. Hehehe…

Because of I didn’t really get to sleep yesterday night, my mind went blank around 1pm.. So we came back to hostel for short rest before going to grandma’s house.. Slept for 1 and half hour I guess, and my grandma called us every hour to ask when we are going to her area.. Hahaha… As usual, we eat like gorillas when we are at grandma’s place… Pastries… Dinner… Chang… etc~~~~~~~~

We came back to the hostel after visiting grandma to take shower… And we proceeded to the Tanjung Aru Beach.. Wow… That place is amazing~~~ There’s alot of restaurants beside the beach.. serving coconut drink, and titbits… The beach is so nice… (My first time seeing beach and sea I supposed…) Hahahaha… Sorry la, due to some reasons, I memang didn’t go to beach side before… T.T But the feeling of blowing the wind at beachside is so awesome.. (Have to plan to a trip to some pulaus later… WC, ok?? XD) hahaha…. After that we sat at the foodcourt enjoyed the coconut drink… Ngehehee.. And also kacang rebus… =P’ And it rained heavily suddenly when we were happily enjoying the drinks… Luckily it stopped very soon… Or else.. We can book a room in the resort there and overnight…

At first we thought of eating the Tiramisu made by my grandma after coming back.. But seems that everyone’s stomach is fully occupied… So we decided to leave the cake for breakfast tomorrow.. Instead of having the breads.. Ngehehehe.. That’s my second day here ler, and I’m now happily sitting in the room writing blog with my mom snoring beside… =P

This is my first day back to my sweet hometown Sabah… I woke up 5am this morning and the flight was actually on 9:35am… Why should we got up so early? =.=" Dad sent us to KL Sentral and from there we took skybus to LCCT… After checking in, we still had one hour to have our rm7 doughnut breakfast… Hahaha… My first time of boarding plane after… Hmmmm.. 4 years I supposed… Hahaha, that’s kinda long… =P Along the trip to KK, me, my sis and her bf almost ordered everything on the menu… We just want to enjoy eating something at thousands kilometres from the land with double of the prices… Hahahaa… XD We arrived at KK’s terminal at around 12:30pm and straight checked in at a youth hostel in Gaya Street.. A street as Petaling Street laa… The hostel is far more comfortable than I thought… Very homely feel… We just pay for the room and we have to share bathroom and living room… Many expatriates here.. Watching DVD as if at their homes… Hehehehe.. Not bad.. Didn’t expect there’s wireless connection here… Luckily brought laptop, can access internet and write my blog here… Even inside the rooms, can I access to the connection… But the main point of bringing my laptop here is to finish my assignment here… Fortunately the environment here not bad.. Can comfortably do my assignment.. Hehehee

Went to visit my grandparents for dinner… A place that I almost forgotten how it looks like.. That house has totally changed… from my memories… Hmmmm… But still have alot of ms. and mr. Lizards.. Arrrgghhh… Irritating… Later step on them… Can make nasi cicak.. =P Really felt so touch when I saw grandpa for the first moment… He has turned so old.. T.T But fortunately still looked healthy… =) Had a big dinner prepared by grandma… Sen fu sai lor~~~ XD Had extremely lot… Grandma baked 3 whole cakes specially for us.. Tiramisu, peach cake and a blueberry cake… Really air liuh meleleh yerr~~~~ =P’ Taste better than those from Secret Recipe… XD Really appreciate that alot… =)

After the dinner session, we looked back to the old photos kept by grandpa… Hahaha.. Saw everyone’s silly look.. I was quite cute back then.. Super chubby face.. Hahahaha…

The sky here get dark at 6pm.. By 7pm, it’s already looked like 11pm in KL.. Not really used to it yet… I thought it was sleeping time when I looked at the clock, it was only 8:30pm.. Hahaha… Weird~~ And most people here sleep by 9pm… At least my grandma and family do that… Hahaha…. No where to go now, that’s why sitting here, relaxing, eating Rocky and writing blog…. XD

Don’t know how long I didn’t update my blog… =.= At last submitted Internet Publishing’s assignment today… What a long and stupid assignment that made me can’t sleep every night… Although there if faulty in the assignment, but don’t care.. Still passed it up… Fed up in debugging the errors.. =P Hope won’t fail.. *Praying hard* >.<" Ngohohoho.. "Looking Forward to Flyaway"~ A title that borrowed from my sister… XD Guess we all are very excited and looking forward to back to hometown that we left for……………… 16 years…. Pai seh to tell, that didn’t go back for so many years… Don’t know how there have changed.. Hahaha, anyway, I don’t have much memory of KK also… Just remember the house that I used to stay was full with chickens and lizards… =.=" And it’s just located next to the KK Airport… Hmmmm… Looking forward to meet my grandpa.. which… also didn’t meet for 16 years… But before all that, still need to finish C++ assignment by Monday… =.=" Which I think is impossible.. T.T The actual submission due date falls on one of the days which I’ll still be in KK.. =/ And I’m still so relaxing, sitting here writing a pointless blog… Ngohohoh… XD Just lazy to do anything now…. =P

Just wanted to blog that I met some old CS girls yesterday night… XD Why "The same old gang"?? Hahahaha.. Because me, Siew, Summer and Junnie were very good during… hmmm…. Form 2 that time??? =\ So long ago… Still remember me, Junnie and Summer were from Anggerik and Siew was from Dahlia… But we sticked together every moment in school.. Skip assembly ler, skip P.E. classes ler, recess time ler, dancing performance ler… Everything was together.. Hahaha.. Miss those days… Remember our first outing together to IOI Mall?? That was super funny… XD Bet you girls still remember what happened on that day… Hahahaha… Frankly, I didn’t realise the four of us yesterday were that same old gang until I looked back at the photos we took… =P Anyway, the camerawoman was Lao Soo.. She too presented yesterday but she didn’t want her photo to be taken.. T.T High class people punye photos where can be taken so easy… Blueeekkk… =P

At last got a chance to meet up with Junnie.. It was since…….. x years ago since the last time we met her… Really miss her so much.. =) She seems to be super busy… T.T She was late yesterday too… Hahahaha… Nevermind, Advertising and Graphic students are like that… We understand.. =P

Oh ya, let me mention that we also met Wai Cheong, Wai Kit and Kim Seng at Uma… Hahaha… Wherever I go with Siew, I’ll sure see them… Why huh?? =\ Sentul, BTS, Sg. Wang, LRT stations, Umarani etc…. Hahahaha… This is really what we call it as fate… ^.^ Got time call us for yum cha laa… It too has been x years since we sat together for yumcha… Since Wai Cheong is measuring floor now, might as well call us out ma… =P

Hahaha, Rushing assignment until almost forgot to blog about today… Yeah, that’s right~ This week is the first week of September… Which Sushi King is having their RM2 per plate promotion from Monday to Thursday… XD Of course, me and WC won’t let go the chance to makan besar besar lorr~~~ But too bad, even though it’s RM2 per plate, it’s still very expensive if eat too much… T.T So the amount that we can eat is limited… T.T

We went to the Sushi King in Low Yat Plaza around 12pm.. =) It was still quite empty as it’s not lunch hour yet.. Yeah~ Got to sit at nice place… ^^ Anyway, WC already had once yesterday with her family.. Her targets today were just tempura and unagi which she didn’t get to eat yesterday.. Hahahaha… We sat there for around 1 hour and ate around 12 plates only ler… Hope can eat more.. but haihhhhhh~~~~~ =\ Nevermind ler, next time still have chance gehh… XD Looking forward for the next promotion…

After Sushi session, we went and walk in Sg. Wang which we don’t know what we actually wanted to look for.. Hahaaha… Walk motivelessly~ =P After tired walking, we sat down in a cafe at the roof top of Sg. Wang called RBT… The drinks there are…. expensive….. =.=" Suen ler… We sat there for almost two hours… Hahaha, long time didn’t sit with WC for so long and happily chat and gossip… Ngohohohho… XD The environment there isn’t bad, but maybe their items are quite expensive, so we were the only customers there at that time.. Got to sit on the swing chair.. Ngehehehe Which WC was very excited of… =P

Then, WC sent me back which we were lost in the journey from KL to Sentul.. Pai seh laa, first time drove by WC but can’t recognise the route back home…. But I’m really not good in recognising roads…. Next time don’t simply dump me anywhere errr~~~ I’ll end up as wild dog gerrr… T.T Anyway, we still arrived at Sentul safely… ^^ Thank to Siew’s God… =P

It’s 1st of September~!! Happy birthday to my mom!!! XD She was born one day after our independent day on 1957~~~ Late abit punya Merdeka Child… =P My sister purposely took leave today to go out and celebrate with us… So we brought mom to Mid Valley to have lunch and for shopping… ^^ We had lunch in Oh! Sushi as mom like their ramen very much… But I just had that last two weeks… =.="" Nevermind ler, as long as she’s happy~ =) Our lunch was very delicious =P’ Ramen and sushi~~~~~ Sis had salad and bro had Chahan…. =D Took some photos of the food… So I happily paid the bill as a present for mom.. XD

After lunch session, we went for a walk… My sister insisted my mom to grab something so that she can pay for that as birthday present… She tried on many sandals and pants, still can’t get anything that suit her… =.=" So at the end, she didn’t buy anything… We then bought a tiny little Black Forest from La Boheme to be cut after dinner as dessert.. =D’

My sister’s boyfriend came here with a big KFC’s bucket~~~ XD Another nice meal for dinner.. Ngohohoho… Ate so much today… =P Very satisfy.. ^^ After dinner, and finally it’s cake cutting session… Waited for so long~~~~ =D’ And there goes a day… =) Hope mom enjoys the day, may all your wishes come true… Stay healthy always.. Happy birthday~ We love you, mom!!! XD
