YuMi’s pLaCe~

Today is the so-called chinese’s Valentine’s Day… XD According to Lunar calendar, on the 7th day of the 7th month, the legendary Cowherd and Weaving Maid meet each other for their once-a-year tryst over a bridge formed by sympathetic magpies over the Milky Way. The legend tells that although Cowherd and Weaving Maid were very poor, they worked very hard for living. God felt very proud of both of them.. This until they met and fell deeply in love with each other.. After their marriage, they were too into enjoying their moments until they left their works aside… God was very angry about it and separated them to two places that was only connected through this bridge.. And they were only allowed to meet each other once a year.. That’s today.. (So sad and romantic.. T.T)

Therefore, since the old ages, this day became a festival for girls and young lovers.. =) Besides, chinese people believe that writing their wishes on papers and hang them on some bamboo trees will make them come true.. XD (Think of that, haven’t make any wish for this year.. =\ I had a lot of weird dreams though… =P)

Today too, is the festival of the Goddess of Seven Sisters (I guess this is their english name.. =P Hahaha.. Direct translate from Chinese) On this day, Chinese will go to the Goddess’ temple for praying.. (My mom said mostly Hakka people worship them.. ^^) I went there yesterday night after off from work as everyone will be busy today… It has been two years since the last time I went… (I took some pictures of the temple.. =P) Very smoky and crowded there, as everyone was busy lighting up the incense and candles, and burning those praying papers… =.="" Many people were queueing for the fortune telling too… Didn’t get a chance to queue.. They said that the fortune telling of this temple is very accurate especially on love thingy… (I’m still wondering =\) It is our family event every year to have dinner in the KFC nearby after the prayers.. But too bad~ that KFC sudah closed shop~ Hahahaha… So the whole Hue family went to Genting Klang to have our super delicious dinner… XD

Emm… About Lady in the Water…. Actually I don’t know how to blog on it.. =.=" I have been thinking about it while watching the whole movie.. Hahahaha… The reason?? A little bit confused on the bedtime story that was told… Ngahahaha… Summore they talked quite fast.. Some can’t really digest before the others was said… =P

It’s roughly about a guy was rescued a mysterious lady while he drown in a pool, who happened to be a bedtime story character who came from the underwater world… She needs the help of some other characters from the bedtime story to help her to get back to her world.. As some bad creatures called scrunts will come and get them while they are trying to get back to their world… And those characters are few of them who stayed in the apartment near the pool… The whole story is about how they find the characters and the ways to send the lady back to her land safely… Something like that I guess..

It will be some frightening scene suddenly, when it’s not expected… =.= Shocked me many times.. And some parts are quite funny too… Some only lerr… (Siew already yamn before the 30th minute of the movie) Ngahaahahaha….  XD

At last got a chance to meet up with the CS girls after so long… Feel so great to see them again especially Yi-Cheng and Ee Lynn (the long lost ones.. =P) as Cheng just came back from Germany… (Forgot to ask her about the live world cup =\) Hope still have chance to go out with her again before she’s back to Germany… There are long lost ones, there sure are also ffk ones… Let me name them out.. Hahaha.. See you girls still dare to ffk or not… Kit Yee, Soo Teng and Suk Teng… Don’t take it serious la, know you girls had something to do… =P

Alyssa arrived sharp at 10pm, so she and me walked to Kasim, where is just beside my apartment.. Minutes later, Trisha, Cheng and Ee Lynn reached.. Aline called and told me that she just got out from home.. =.=" She a Joyce reached around 15 minutes later… So we 7 people sat at a table that is supposingly for 4 people…. Feel so close to each other…^.^ UUeeekkkkk….. =P

Have to mention abit about one of the waiters… =\ So called ah neh… That ah neh, I don’t know whether he don’t understand Malay or didn’t sleep for 48 hours… We asked for Teh Si~ He said "taklak".. We then said "Cham Ping"~ He yau said "taklak"… (Otak ada bawak aa?) =.="" Hahahhaha… End up he brought another ah Neh to take our order.. At least he still knew to bring someone… =P Me and Aly shared a Naan Cheese which looks good to Aline… So they ordered also after seeing us makan… Then was Cheng’s turn to air liuh meleleh leleh and ordered another one… =D Ngahaahhaha… Anyway, she ta pao a pack of pulut from pasar malam before meeting us… Don’t eat too much lorr.. Later stomach burst ehh~~~ Hahahaha.. =D

Then it was photo time which all of us took pictures as if we never take before.. (Photos can be viewed at my MSN Space =)) So excited.. Cheng even brought her own camera… XD As usual, everyone was watching at us.. (Tau la kite cantik, tak yah pandang… Kite tangkap gambar ader pakai baju yerr.. =.=) Cheng talked so loud beside me that I could hardly concentrate on what I was talking to others… Only hear her voice beside my ears.. Hahaahaha… =P Everyone screamed like we all are deaf… But really enjoyed it as we already never come out as a big group for quite some time…. ^.^ Hope there is still chances in the future to yumcha beramai ramai.. And remember don’t ffk again.. Next time we go steamboat yah?? XD

Frankly I wasn’t realised of "The Lake House" until Joyce told me…. Didn’t hear about it before… She wanted to watched so much as it’s acted by Keanu Reeves (Super super hensem XD) and Sandra Bullock.. At first, I still had no idea who Sandra Bullock is.. Hahahha.. Sorry, I’m abit outdated I admit… =P

This movie goes for 1 hour and 50 minutes… The whole plot is very calm and quiet… It’s kind of a typical romantic love story that happened in a unusual way.. Hahaha… The story is more or less about a guy in 2004 and a lady in two years ahead got to get in touch with each other through a mysterious mail box at a lake house.. They had never met before but fell deeply for each other… There is a strong feeling of love exists and the feel is successfully delivered to the audience through the good acting of both stars.. (As I felt it =D)

As Joyce said, the movie cannot be viewed in a logic way… As romantic things always occur in unlogic ways… Hahaha… Fate~ Nway, the story line is quite slow and quiet, I felt a little sleepy in the theatre… Too used to comedy and action movies nowadays.. But it’s recommended for those who are more sentimental and like romance…. Some scenes are quite touching and I almost *sobz*…. T.T Hahahaha… Overall, best movie to watch with your partners or with lengchai/lenglui.. Can hug each other during those romantic scenes… XD Then can muacks muacks… Ngohoho… ^o^ Or else, just buy DVD and watch it at home laa… =P

Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock in The Lake House.. ^^

Today I supposed to start my work at 12pm.. But Syena called me 10am asked me to enter earlier as it was busy in the morning and the partner that entered work before me is a new girl… So I quickly woke up my dad to go for breakfast earlier and I managed to clock in at 11:05am.. =) It was really busy.. Customers came and went… Syena was out of sight at the most busy period of the day.. My POS was stucked because of a customer said the bill was too expensive and cancelled his order (See menu before order la, ngok… We are Starbucks pak cik!! =.=") The queue was sooooo long but only left me and May Yee on the floor.. Make me almost faint.. =P

Around 1:30pm suddenly there’s strong wind.. Tak sempat close the umbrella at the outdoor cafe, and one of them fell to the ground… Luckily the customers helped us in closing the umbrella as the wind is really crazy.. =.=" Even we closed the umbrellas, they still tumbang a while later.. Scary.. Our airboard and banners all flee out of sight.. Hahahaha… Our new partner, Aishah almost flee together with them… XD Customers complained no place to sit.. But what can we do laa??  Come come come, sit in our Back of the House, want? -.-"" Luckily the rain stopped a while after that.. And I managed to snap a photo when the wind got weaker… Hahaha, should snap when the wind was extremely strong.. But the customers kept on coming.. No chance… =\

Oh ya, our new partner, let me talk a little about her.. She’s Aishah, very sweet girl that learns quite fast.. Outgoing and friendly.. Good~ Will have nice future in Starbucks.. (Of course.. See who’s her senior… Ehemm XD) There’s a fruit juice cum ice cream stall opened beside our Starbucks, named Gelato Fruity… Tried their "Praline" flavour ice-cream.. It’s some creamy stuff with hazelnut taste (I love hazelnut to the max =D’) Not bad.. Tried it with waffle cone… RM6.50.. Quite expensive.. And it says it is 95% fat free, I still doubting that… Hmmm.. =\

Hmmm.. What happened somemore… Shah, a malay partner, talked to me in Mandarin… I was quite suprise.. =) He really can speaks Mandarin quite well.. Better than me.. @.@ Hahaha… Feel very weird to talk chinese with a Malay… Cool~ And he promised me to treat me that Gelato thingy after getting his salary… Ngohohoho… Anyone and everyone, please be my witness… =P Ice-cream~~ ice-cream~~~ XD

  I read newspapers nowadays and realised that cases that girls having anorexia is increasing…=\ It’s not very happy to hear that.. Anorexia Nervosa, as described in Wikipedia, it is a psychiatric diagnosis that describes an eating disorder characterized by low body weight and body image distortion. Another eating disorder is called bulimia nervosa, which I think is more serious.. It is a psychological condition in which the   subject engages in recurrent binge eating followed by an intentional purging. I realised many friends that I knew including me myself have light symptoms of anorexia… No matter how thin they are, they look at themselves as very fat and start to skip meals.. Scary huh?? 40++ kg for a girl of 150++cm isn’t fat, is it?? Let me see what’s the reason   for this diagnosis… Hmmm… =\

Thanks to the advertisements on slimming center, girls nowadays are very conscious of their body more than their health.. Those ambassadors who promote for the companies are too perfect.. It brings a wrong   message to girls that thin means pretty.. =.= But I guess   that’s a wrong thinking… A little bit chubby or moderate weigh girls are sometimes more gorgeous and sexy… =) Although there are thin stars who look beautiful exist, such as Keira Knightley.. But   Lindsay   Lohan’s body figure isn’t bad, right?? =P Ngahahha.. Moreover, I realised too girls like to compete among peers for who is more pretty.. This may lead to lower self-confident.. So, they do anything to reduce weight so that they think they look better and boost up the self-confident… Is that true?? =\ (Girls who read this, no offence, as i’m trying to figure out the cause of it =))

Last month I guess, I read newspaper on a girl willing to skip meal and   take diet pills to reduce weight.. She was only 23 kg in the end and was hospitalised.. That’s a little bit too over.. 23 kg.. can fly when strong wind blow… =.=" Thin does not means everything ler.. I guess girls who are healthy and  beautiful on the whole package will more likely to attract the attention of guys instead of those who tinggal only tulang… =\ Ngahaha… Anyone who does not understand the meaning of "Beautiful", Vijen can enlighten you girls.. Ngahahaha… =P

People that eat disorderly will suffer clinical depression or chronically low mood as they will always fear of becoming fat.. Thus, they cannot   really enjoy the happiness of eating.. Therefore, now I’m start eating roti canai every night… Ngahaahaha… Feel so satisfied after eating… Didn’t feel this good before.. Don’t care how fat laa.. =P You girls should also enjoy life when you still can… If we are too concern on how we look, we may miss out something more important.. Correct not?? XD Not saying that you should eat a lot, but just don’t too over in keeping fit.. Healthy is the most concerned.. =)

For girls who have these symptoms… Think twice before skipping your meals.. You girls aren’t fat, too thin is just abnormal… Hmmm.. Telling this to myself too… So anyone want to treat me makan, welcome welcome… XD

Emmm… Actually didn’t think to write a blog… But since there is still someone that look forward to read blogs when he/she is free, so I just write whatever I can lerr…

My semester break is going to end soon T.T There goes 40 days.. Time flies.. Recall what I did for the past few weeks.. End up I just work and work and work.. My holiday life is just around working.. And will go for movies once or twice a week with my ex-schoolmates.. So boring… =.="" Not forgetting watching cartoon and drama at home.. Spend 90% of my time at home in front of the computer… My short sighted going to get deeper soon… @.@ Hahaha…

Vijen is going to resign from Starbucks.. Pray she will join HELP.. Hahaha.. So we saw each others for 13 years in primary and secondary schools.. Then 2 and half years in Starbucks working together and few more years in HELP… =\ Hahahaa… Vijen.. I follow u the whole life… =P WC oh WC… Don’t worry.. I miss you day and night.. Looking forward to weekend everyday so that can chat with WC.. And can go out with WC if time permit.. Then WC can treat Alina eat Secret Recipe.. XD And I treat back you butter sugar bun.. =P Hahaha.. Vijen, you want butter sugar bun or not??

Opppss.. Tomorrow gotta work early… =.= At first set that I will start work at 9am.. But because of a function don’t know at where.. So I guess we have to deliver don’t know how many cups of beverages to the company.. So I have to be there by 8am.. Lazy nye~~ Don’t know will work until what time… Vijen, later I NSNC.. Ngahahaha…

Ngahahaha, nearly forgot that I’ve watched "Pirates of the Caribbean 2: Dead Man’s Chest" with WC on Sunday.. Frankly, I didn’t watch the first episode, so I have no idea what the story is about at first.. And WC don’t have a chance to tell me the story before we watched the show as she was late… Ngohoho… =P And she kept telling that both episodes aren’t connected except the characters.. So just watch lorr… =\ I know WC was very excited about the movie as she started to talk about it few months before it.. Because of that, I booked tickets 3 days before the outing.. I online at 12am sharp wish I could book.. But the server was so busy and I couldn’t even get the tickets at 1am.. So I slept and woke up at 5am just to book tickets for WC.. Hahaahah… I’ve been repeating this thing in front of WC for thousands time.. Wish she could treat me mcD.. And at last she did..

Ok, back to the movie.. Luckily I still understand the story line although I didn’t watch the previous episode.. I just got a little bit confused on the characters that reappear in this episode.. Jack Sparrow was extremely funny.. He made the whole story seems interesting.. But some of the scenes are quite scary especially the crew on the ghostly Flying Dutchman.. I wonder why is this movie rated as "U"… If I am a kid, I sure will get nightmare after watching it.. =.="" And.. why.. why.. why did Elizabeth kissed Jack?? It’s not about she’s Will’s fiancee.. It’s because.. Jack looks so dirty in the movie… Yuucckkkk…. Ngahahaha.. That’s what my sister told me… But this movie has no ending, so I guess everyone is looking forward for the next episode.. WC told me that Chow Yun Fatt is acting in Episode 3.. Is it true? =.=" I wonder what character he’ll play in the show… =\ God of Gamble of a pirate ship?? Ngohohoho.. =P

Anyway, pray that the next episode is coming out soon.. I want to know the fate of captain Jack Sparrow… XD

Pirates of the Caribbean 2: Dead Man’s Chest.. XD

The movie that I watched with Joyce and Beryl today was Stay Alive… It written "You die in the game, you die for real" in the newspaper.. That attracted me very much.. XD The movie is not too bad.. But it run for only 1 hour 25 minutes.. It was not that horror although it is rated 18SG.. But Joyce and Beryl covered their eyes with their bags almost for the whole movie… =\ The spirits or ghosts that appeared are in animation forms (as in the game), that is why they was not that scary… =) I rate this movie as 3.5 stars lerr… ^.^

Stay Alive is about a group of teenagers played a beta version of online game called "Stay Alive" which they have to say some kind of prayers to activate the game.. The left no choice but to continue playing the game and find the secret in order to survive.. However, there exists a rule, that is if the characters died in the game, they will die in reality exactly the way they died in the game… =.= The game is of a true story on an old lady named Elizabeth that killed girls and drink their blood in order to stay young… Even they stop playing the game halfway as it was too creepy, the players will still die as the game is played by itself… The only way to stop all the craps is to hammer nails on Elizabeth’s corpse’s head, heart and ….. forgot where was it… Ngahaha XD and burn the corpse… But the corpse is located in an unknown tower at a farm… You will have to figure out how they died and how the survivor survived by your own… =D

After watching this, I guess I will not dare to play creepy online games anymore… Don’t aaa~ Don’t kill me~~~~ I only play Super Mario Bros… Ngahahha… =P

Today went to Mid Valley for movie with Joyce and Beryl… Right after got the tickets we went to Pizza Hut for lunch… ^^ It was extremely full there due to lunch hour.. We waited for around 5 minutes before got a seat.. We ordered pizza’s express combo, cabonara and lasagna to share among us… Due to the lunch hour also, the food served was cold and harden… Bad quality.. Have to give some feedback to them next time… =\ It was damn full… =.="" We forced ourselves to finished all the food as we 3 people are on diet too… T.T Ate too much today.. It was the fullest lunch I’ve eaten since last few months.. Ngahahaha… XD Beryl keep on putting cheese powder on the spaghetti… Make me feel want to.. Uuuaaaeeekkk~~~ =.=" Hahaha… We rushed for the movie right after lunch… The movie already started when we entered the theatre… =)

After movie, we went for a walk… Hahaha, now I realised girls are really fussy.. =P We can stand in front of a accessories stall for almost half an hour, just to choose a pair of earrings for each.. Since it is 3 for RM10 some more… Hahaha.. So we spent overall RM20 there… Oh ya, we also spent another 15 minutes at another stall where Joyce finally bought a brooch.. XD

After we walked until tired, we sat in McD for a drink… ^^ We took alot of photos at there and everyone was looking at us.. (Can view our photos at my MSN Space =) ) Dun care laa… The guy sitting beside said to his two girl friends "I teach you how to take photos, the three girls beside took until very funny" =.="" Even we born to look like Mr. Bean also is none of your business laa… *=( Ngahaha… After that, we went to Watson’s to buy something and went back.. I was so full in KTM.. Luckily got my way out of the train when arrived destination… A tired day today… As I was wearing high heel sandals.. =.="" Have to work tomorrow too… Haihhh… Gambaremasu!!!! ^.^v
