Thanks everyone for reading Yumi’s Place all these while.. Glad that the nonsense I’ve written here was at least read by minority of you.. I’ve been blogging here since May 2006 and my blog now consists of around 200 posts.. Hehe..

I’m sad to inform you guys that I won’t be continuing my blog here anymore.. Since the layout here is dull and not much flexibility here, and also many people have own their blog in the real blog domains, I decided to have one also.. So I’m happy to inform you guys that I’ll start to blog my Yumi’s Place in Blogsome.. The new URL will be http://pinkyumika.blogsome.com, easier to remember right? Remember to check out and support my new blog always oo~ although I haven’t really update the new blog yet.. =P Add it to your Favorites ok? (Perasan case.. Flower on carrot… XD

Yea, it’s grown on a CARROT… These carrots have been kept in my house’s refrigerator for some time.. And seems like their lives look good in the refrigerator~ =P

Nowadays there are alot of online boutiques available.. Beryl has found an online boutique which actually based in Melaka (Myfashionmah).. So me and YChen tried to order from them.. They sell blouses, dresses, skirts and pants which are at the range of RM30 - RM40 like that.. It took us around 1 week for confirmation of stock and 1 week for payment, and exactly two weeks for shipping.. First time order clothes via the net, scared it won’t arrive, or the wrong ones arrived.. Haha, luckily the clothes are OK after waiting for so long.. Although there were few which were out of stock.. T.T

I bought three clothes, the first is a pink loose shirt with a big love~ It looks just right on me.. I scared it will be too loose from the photo.. Hehe, like it very much especially the HEART shape… XD The shirt quality is very nice, thin.. Suit me.. ^^

Another one is a black color long shirt with a Miss Giraffe.. Miss Giraffe has a ribbon on its neck.. real ribbon.. XD Looks OK too, won’t be too loose, but abit too long.. The material is very thin too.. Veri comfortable.. =) The sleeves got a bit weird though.. =P

The last one is a long sleeves turtleneck (Weird kind of turtleneck =P) The material is very thick, kind of warm after wearing it.. And quite loose on me, especially the sleeves.. Haha, I think it will look better if I wear with some big accessories (necklace).. Will go and get a nice one soon.. Hehe… Now I’m waiting for YChen to try on hers.. Anyway, they are still with me.. =P

We were planning for our penang trip the other day, and the Roti Babi in Penang just crossed our mind.. Then we found out that actually there is Roti Babi sold in KL also, which is in a famous coffee shop here called Yut Kee (Around Plaza Wilayah in the old Campbell road there), according to Makankings.. He has rated the food there for 8 out of 10.. So I presume the food there should be not bad, especially the Roti Babi… =P So me and YChen decided to go and find it out..

Anyway, I remember that Dad told me that this shop was on TV before because they have a rack to put their breads and cakes which has more than 100 years of history.. Something like that la~

I was late, when I arrived that time, I already saw YChen waiting for me at the shop entrance.. And there were few more groups of customers waiting for seats.. Luckily we were just two people, so we got our seats immediately after I arrived.. Then the foreign waiters there talked very fast, and they spoke in English… Geng.. =.=" So besides the Roti Babi, I ordered a Fried Vermicelli (Something that YChen ordered the other day in Chopstik =P) and YChen ordered their Chicken "Pork".. Opps.. It’s Chicken Chop… =P (Guess why I said that.. XD)

According to YChen, the chicken chop was tasteless.. I could see that the gravy was sooo watery.. See also know it would be tasteless.. YChen sambil makan sambil gave me the expression of -_-*.. And it costs RM7.. RM7 for a tasteless chicken chop, I rather pay that to Ali Maju… =P

Ok, about the Vercimelli I ordered.. Same case, tasteless.. I don’t think they fried it la~ It looked like kena steamed more than kena fried.. =.=" But the plate of Vercimelli was "fried" with many meats.. Squid la, pork la, fish slices la, chicken gizzard la~ And also contained something I hate the most—> Parsley.. >.<" Tasteless Vercimelli with so many meat~ That cost me RM5.50 =.="

Then we waited n waited n waited, the main character hadn’t appear.. =.=" Then we reminded the waiterS.. At last, the Roti Babi came.. Then I tried first.. Hmm… The outter of the bread was fried, something like French toast la (No need to mention, it’s tasteless too.. =.=") The inner part of the bread was very soft.. I thought it would be crunchy, but it was soft.. =.=" The so called "Babi" filling of the roti was actually "Fried sprouts + fried cabbage + preserve pork slices (Lap Cheong)"… That’s all.. Nothing special at all, but don’t know why everyone gave so high rating for it.. I don’t think it worths also.. RM7 somemore.. For me, it was extremely NOT worth.. Haihhh… Don’t know why so many people queue for it, I saw a Mat Salleh somemore… =P Suen la, after that we walked to Bukit Nanas station to take monorail to Sg. Wang..

I’ve received a BELATED birthday present today… =P Yea, my birthday is on FEBRUARY~ And now I got it.. Haha.. So this friend has bought a present for me for my birthday months ago.. But I guess he wants to give it to me face to face and we have never met since CNY gathering.. So he gave up at the end, and passed it to another friend who then passed it to me today..

The present was in quite huge packaging~ Wondering what is that, but I expected something in pink la, since it’s well known that "Buy present for Alina? Just find anything in pink" XD And true enough I got a pink mug!!! A tall and slim pink color mug with cute (weird) dog dog figure.. XD Love it very much~~ Smsed my friend to tell him that I like it very much and he sounded as if he don’t believe that.. I know that got so excited over a mug is abit…….. But I really like it wor, how?? Even the packaging box itself is already very nice… =)

Thanks alot wei, I like it.. I can have my own mug already.. Haha, all the while I’ve been stealing my Bro’s mug… =) Sound so pity~ And the mug can accompany me when I’m burning midnight oil now~~~ XD Happy!!!

Yesterday was the replacement holiday for Hari Raya.. Early in the morning, as usual, I went for breakfast with my parents (I’m good girl ne~ XD) My mom suddenly suggested for dim sum.. She said it has been quite some time since we have last eaten dim sum.. Hmmm, I guess we ate that along with Sis last few weeks right? Haha, maybe she just don’t want to eat those noodles or rice.. So, we went to out usual dim sum spot in Jalan Ipoh.. I’ve used to blog on some new food that I tried but this time I want to blog on something I commonly eat.. Muahaha..

Supposingly there’s a nicer dimsum at the middle of the shoplot~ But I don’t know why my parents like to stick to the corner shop called "Tin Hoe Hweeh".. What a name.. It was SOOO crowded the time we went.. No one even bothered to serve us.. =.=" After waited around 15 minutes like that, at last the dimsum came.. Not many choices also… We took some siu mai, pork rib, lobak cake, yam puff.. and blah blah blah.. Looked like we took quite little also.. But I ended up super full.. >.<" Because I ate the most.. Dad only stared on the newpapers, didn’t really eat also.. Then the fella didn’t respond to us when we asked for bill.. T.T Don’t want money ke? We waited around 15 minutes also before he came.. If I was alone, I already walked away… =P

My advice is, don’t visit this shop… I rather eat the one located few shops away.. I swear I won’t go there anymore for dim sum.. Hnngg~ Angry already.. >.<*

Selamat Hari Raya kepada semua warga Malaysia yang dicintai… Muahaha.. Everyone gets their holiday today, and I gotta work.. T.T Normally others on holiday, I sure have to work one.. Why~~ >.<" But working today consider OK la~ First, because today we will get triple pay~~~~~ XD Second, I got to eat nice nice one without having to visit my long lost Malay friends~~ =)

Unfortunately, two of our Malay colleagues also have to work today, due to Starbucks The Mall is lack of Non-Malay staff.. Told you all to hire some chinese lengchais one la, you all don’t want.. Ceh… =P First was Yasmin, our new partner came around 2pm with some (banyak) nasi himpit, kuah kacang and some curry chicken.. =D’ So nice of her~ Muax~~ Then you’ll notice that Alina and the cute little May Yee stood at the B.O.H. for very longz kept on stuffing in itu nasi himpit with the kuah~ The kuah was splendiddddddd!!!! XD We finished the whole bowl.. Muahaha~

Then there came our beloved supevisor, Hazim brought some different type of rendang, ketupat and agar agar~ OMG, those looked so tempting.. Ngohoho.. Me, May Yee and Mun Yee only attacked the rendang daging and left rendang ayam for non-beef eater, Venu… Muahaha, we were like centuries didn’t eat proper meal like that.. Keep on munching munching and munching while leaving Yasmin alone at the bar… The ketupats were very nice to eat with the kuah… Wahhhhh~~

The tastety malay food brought by our lovely colleagues.. Muahaha.. Must ampu a bit… =P

Hazim asked me, "Aren’t you on diet? =.="" I just gave him the face of XD.. Couldn’t hold on anymore~ =P Sorry for my diet plan, it’s totally UNSUCCESSFUL one…

Alina caught in action while stealing the food, faster act innocent first, "I’m innocent one~ XD".. Don’t look at me.. >.<" Muahaha, my mouth was actually fully stuff with the nasi and daging.. =P

Today afternoon there was an open house event in PWTC by our PM also.. Saw so many Malays with their colorful baju… (Baju what ah they call? The guys wear one) crossing the road to PWTC.. Wah, very happening oo~ I thought of going also but too bad, gotta work.. T.T Nevermind la, thanks Yasmin and Hazim~ We had a nice and full lunch today.. Goodbye my diet plan… XD

Fuuu, at last I can blog something on movies.. How long I haven’t been watching movie? T.T So sad.. I missed so many nice movies.. Anyway, today I got a chance for Resident Evil: Extinction.. XD Someone ffk us… >.<* Will tell him to blanjer Shangri-La Buffet after exam… Yes~ =P

I missed the first Resident Evil, but I did watch the second one (Apocalypse) but that was few years back right? I can say that I totally forgot the whole story, only remembers the main character’s face.. =P This sequel is about 1 and half hours long, and is starred by the well-known Milla Jovovich.. XD I love her, she’s soooooo cool!! Ok, this one is about the T-Virus already spread throughout the world, and almost everyone in this world is a zombie.. This Umbrella Corporation (The one that transformed Alice (Milla Jovovich XD) into a Bio-Organic Weapon is trying to locate Alice in order to take her blood sample to produce some chemical which can control the zombies.. They tried to use blood sample from clones of Alice but was failed.. All the while, Alice has been alone, avoiding from detected by this corporation.. And she met with another group of survivors, which she found Carlos (Oded Fehr) there.. This guy was the main lead from last sequel right? But I no memory at all who he was.. Haha, seems like he was Alice’s lover who saved her from the corporation.. Am I right? =\ Then this gang of survivors try to drive their way to Alaska as they believe that Alaska is still free from the T-virus and zombies.. But most of them were killed by the zombies when they reached Vegas for fuel.. There’s one Dr. Isaac who is responsible in creating the so called chemical, turned into……. and why? Watch lor.. And the ending? Basically no ending as this is not the last episode, although the title named Extinction (Here, the extinction basically means the extinction of the world.. =))

Hmm.. This movie nothing much from the previous sequels.. Kill kill kill and kill the zombies.. Then the zombies bite bite bite and bite the people… Haha.. But I like it when they show this Milla Jovovich killing the zombies~ Brutal but it’s just too cool!!! If I can do this to our college’s lecturers, how nice… XD Haha, I predict that the next sequel will be quite exciting also, but just don’t know when they will be producing it… Must watch oo~ Especially for those who watched the previous Resident Evils~ XD

Anyway, just now Sister came back from outing and bought us some donuts from Big Apple.. OMG, you know I’m on diet right? =.=" Why still want to tempt me.. Since she has bought it, so I grabbed one of them.. Hehe.. I took the California Almond.. Donut + Almond flakes + icing topping.. Not bad, the donut very soft, but the icing abit too sweet.. XD Don’t tempt me anymore… =P

Yea~~ Today is my dearest Sister’s birthday!! Remember I promised to tell you all what I bought for my sis? Haha, actually nothing much la.. I got her a necklace with a heart shape pendant~ And there’s a clover in the pendant~ XD Real clover.. At first I wanted to get a more complicated design, but my Sis suits a simple one la~ Later people only look at the necklace.. =P I like it very much la.. Very scared that she doesn’t like it.. But luckily, she was very happy to see it~ =) And the necklace is not cheap you know, because the salesgirl said it’s made by 925 silver.. I wonder need so expensive or not? Or I just kena cheated? >.<" But they gave me nice box and paper bag to put the necklace.. So I think it is a good choice for gift.. =)

That day I came back and realised my Mom bought her a necklace also from Lazo Diamond.. =.=" Already told her I’ll be buying necklace, and she still went and buy another one.. Somemore from Lazo… T.T So this clover necklace I shared the cost with my Brother.. Lala.. Got her a Snoopy birthday card from Hallmark also.. =)

Then just now she went out with her bf and managed to buy a birthday cake.. Kesian.. Birthday girl had to buy her own birthday cake, although her bf was the one who paid la~ =P She got a Chocolate Moist from Bread History… Normal chocolate cake lor… Not as good as the one I bought for my Bro.. Muahahaha… Anyway, Happy Birthday, Jie!! Hope you’ll get married soon.. Hehe, may all your wishes come true… XD

Today I went to Mid Valley to search for present for my Sister’s birthday.. Her birthday falls on 7th Oct which is this coming Sunday.. >.<" Wallet really super dry.. I’ve walked around Mid Valley, then walked across to Gardens.. First time to walk around Gardens thoroughly.. Wow, I think Gardens is more exclusive than Pavilion.. The retailers in Gardens are only those that sell expensive items~ At least Pavilion has more ranges of shops.. The Isetan and Robinsons in Gardens also looks very exclusive ne… >.<"

Then at last I got something for my Sister from Mid Valley, and also got a birthday card from Hallmark.. Will tell you guys what I got for her after her birthday… =P Hope she’ll like it..

Then only YChen came and joined me for lunch after her java lab test.. =P Tough life ne.. So we decided to eat at Chopstik Noodle House since we’ve never tried that before.. We arrived that time almost past lunch hour, so it wasn’t that crowded.. Lucky.. XD

We had fried Yam Dumpling for appetiser, then I had… aiya, forgot the name again.. Noodle with Double Meat kutt.. Haha, simply dried noodle with my choice of meat.. I chose Char Siew and Roasted Duck.. Both my favourites.. XD The Char Siew was very sweet, and the portion was quite big for Alina.. =.=" YChen ate some kind of Fried Vermicelli.. (Did I spell it correctly? =P) Again, it was quite sweet also according to YChen.. So we concluded that the sugar that they used to make dessert was poured into our meal… XD

After meal, we went to walk in Gardens again as YChen hasn’t go there before.. As I was thinking "Gardens so big, why can’t see my beloved Starbucks one?", I found Starbucks on the second floor~ Haha, then I took the picture of it.. =P There’s Baskin Robbins infront of Starbucks also..

Oh ya, today is my school mate’s birthday~ So I would like to wish Siew a very Happy Birthday~~ Sorry that I couldn’t celebrate with you.. May all your wishes come true ok? Same goes to Victor!!
